On 9 October, Chaotian Town, Chaotian District, organized 10 veteran demobilized soldiers and their families to watch "Changjin Lake" in the theater to relive the history of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, care for the veteran demobilized soldiers of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, and carry forward the great spirit of resisting US aggression and aiding Korea.

"Majestic, exuberant, and crossing the Yalu River..." Before watching the film, all the veterans of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea sang "Military Song of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army." 71 years ago, they sang this heroic battle song and went out of the country and into the battlefield. Today, 71 years later, when they sing this war song again, they say: "Never forget", "Love this song" and "Sing it at any time".
"The Chosin Lake area is the most bitterly cold place in northern Korea, there is no thick winter coat and enough warm equipment, many fighters are frozen to frostbite, and some are still in combat posture in the trenches when they are sacrificed." Looking at the scenes of bloody battles on the screen, Yang Tianming, a 97-year-old veteran of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, was red in the corner of his eyes and excited. He said to the staff around him: "I joined the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea in 1951, when the conditions were harsh, there was no food or clothing, the equipment of the volunteer army was much worse than that of the US army, the best weapon of the whole unit was a Soviet rocket, and the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea that I personally experienced was more cruel than the movie. ”
With the sound of gunfire on the screen, a line that reaches the heart, a scene of bloody fighting, as if to pull everyone back to the war years, the veterans on the scene are moved to tears. "The movie 'Chosin Lake' has great educational significance for our next generation, and we must not forget the difficult years of the past, and future generations must continue to carry out the revolution, unite, follow the party, listen to the party, and build the country well so that they will not be bullied by others." Jin Rongxiang, a veteran of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, said excitedly.
"Without the succession and bravery of our ancestors, where would we be peaceful and prosperous now, and where would we be happy now?" The relevant person in charge of Chaotian Town said that watching the "Chosin Lake" film is not only to remember this history and pay tribute to the national heroes, but also to draw on the strength of endeavor, cherish the present, inherit the legacy of the martyrs, forge ahead like them without fear of hardships, strengthen the sense of mission and responsibility of grass-roots cadres, and make due contributions to the construction of a beautiful, rich and harmonious Chaotian Town.
After watching the film, the 10 veterans present collectively stood up and marched to pay tribute to the indomitable motherland and comrades-in-arms, and the audience behind them resounded with warm applause. Subsequently, cadres and workers of Chaotian Town sent flowers to the veterans of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea to express their love and respect for the veterans of the war against the United States and Aid Korea.
