Will Verstappen also lead Hamilton with points in other racing races?

Currently, the 2021 Formula One season has a total of 17 Grands Prix. With five race weekends left in the F1 World Championship, Max Wistaughan is 12 points ahead of seven-time world champion Hamilton, as we all know. But if Verstappen and Hamilton are tied in another tier, what will the ranking look like?

We have cited three major racing championships i.e. IndyCar Series, NASCAR, MotoGP

Different scoring systems have been used in these tournaments, which has led to changes to the current World Championship rankings. Of course, this is not entirely representative, as in IndyCar and Nascar there are more drivers participating in every Grand Prix. So in the U.S., even if you don't make it to the top ten, it's easier to score. This makes the retirement more disastrous than Formula One.

Indycar

Will Verstappen also lead Hamilton with points in other racing races?

At IndyCar, in addition to the regular points you end up in, you'll get an extra point if you're at least one lap ahead of the game. The driver with the most laps ahead will also score two points. Verstappen and Hamilton both led at least one lap in 11 Grands Prix. Verstappen was the driver with the highest number of laps in P1 among all drivers in 17 races. Hamilton did it only twice. The 24-year-old driver from the Netherlands has received more "bonus points" than his opponents.

He needs these extra points, otherwise he would have fallen behind Hamilton under the IndyCar points system. Thanks to these points, however, Verstappen's points can reach 655 points, while Hamilton's points are only 645 points, a difference of only 10 points. In Formula One, the gap for Mercedes drivers is 12 points, so it makes little difference.

Verstappen has retired three times this season, while Hamilton have only done so once. With so many car scores at IndyCar, the Brits have the upper hand. However, at the end of the race, the tailstable will still be ranked P1 in the tournament.

Nascar

At NASCAR, there are additional points to earn. Winners of The First and/or Second Stages will receive playoff bonus points. Since there is no such system in F1, these are omitted from the count.

Just like at IndyCar, you can get a lot of points even if you perform poorly, in part because of the large number of participants. Hamilton had two fewer DNFs than Verstappen, and this fact affected him again. Hamilton led Verstappen by 37 points, 560 points to 523 points.

Moto GP

Will Verstappen also lead Hamilton with points in other racing races?

In MotoGP, the gap is 8 points compared to Verstappen. After 17 races at the highest level of the Grand Prix, the Dutchman's final F1 ranking will bring him 307 points, while Hamilton scored 299 points.

MotoGP's integration method is most similar to F1. The winner scored 25 points, the runner-up scored 20 points and the P3 driver scored 16 points. After the current 17 Grands Prix, Verstappen is now eight points ahead of his English rivals.
