First, Chen Xuran
In the 1980s and 1990s, Pearl River Television was truly the first Cantonese channel, and many Cantonese people grew up watching Pearl River Channel, and its influence at that time even covered Guangxi and Hainan Island, and the Guangdong TV hosts of that era were big stars in the minds of Guangdong audiences. Since the late 1980s, the most popular host of Pearl River Tv was Wang Yifei, and in the early 1990s, Wang Yifei lost Yangcheng in the struggle with Chen Xuran's sister and left, and since then Chen Xuran has become the female leader of the Pearl River Television variety show industry.

At that time, Chen Xuran in Guangdong can be described as everyone knows, TV, newspapers, magazines, posters, etc., everywhere is her figure, why Chen Xuran can replace Wang Yifei, so far the older generation of Guangdong audiences will occasionally chat. Unfortunately, Chen Xuran was accidentally killed in a private luxury apartment in 1998 at the age of 30. After the news of Chen Xuran's death came out, it was like a thunderclap on the flat ground in southern Guangdong, which quickly spread to every corner of Guangdong and became the focus of discussion among Cantonese people after tea and dinner for a long time.
Second, Chen Rujia
Chen Rujia, a native of Guangzhou, was born on February 1, 1964, and he was by far the most popular singer in Guangdong, and the singer who won the most national awards in the Guangdong music scene at that time. In 1989, Chen Rujia was selected as one of the "Top Ten Singers in China", and he and Liu Huan were the only two mainland male singers selected, and the most ticketed was Tan Yonglin. A year later, Chen Rujia was once again awarded the title of "National Film and Television Top Ten Singers". At that time, his singing of "Love in the Old Garden", "Dusk Cattle Herding", "Crooked Moon" and so on were all famous songs of the times, and his early albums were basically able to sell more than 1.5 million boxes.
In the early nineties, there was a wave of going abroad across the country. In 1993, Chen Rujia fell seriously ill due to physical exhaustion and emotional trauma, so he went to Australia to help his brother take care of the restaurant business at the suggestion of his family, and it was four years. In 1997, he returned to China again, but at this time, the music scene no longer belonged to his jianghu, and the Guangdong music scene he knew was also a scene of people going to the empty building. On January 12, 2004, Chen Rujia died suddenly at home due to a myocardial infarction, when he was only 40 years old.
Third, Guo Chang
Guo Chang, that is, Kang Qizong, who is unknown to Guangdong audiences, to this day, "Foreign Daughter-in-law Local Lang" is still being broadcast continuously, but the theme has deviated from 108,000 miles. The Kang family, which "snubbed Kurama in front of the door", can only become the green leaves of the neighbors, thinking back to when Ah Zong was there, "Foreign Drama" gave the audience a happy scene everywhere, but unfortunately, now it has long been a human being. Kang Qizong's humor is different, the taste of the city, the local flavor is strong, is the release of an optimistic attitude in life, I don't know how many viewers do not watch "Foreign Drama" because of Kang Qizong's death.
Unconsciously, it has been more than fifteen years since Kang Qizong's death, and some audiences have praised him and Su Miaochan as "grassroots couple, golden partners", but Su Miaochan's face without Kang Qizong is becoming more and more stiff, and she is less and less able to play. And his son Kang Tianyu, although he has acted for more than twenty years, his acting skills have always been regressing, and his performances have become more and more exaggerated, always giving the audience a sense of contrivance and handsomeness.
Fourth, Ma Ting
Born in 1963, Ma Ting had already entered Guangdong Television when she was eighteen years old, and if she was still alive, she must be the most senior host of Pearl River Television, who entered Guangdong Television before Liu Jingdong and Ren Yongquan. Ma Ting can always give the audience an indescribable sense of intimacy, which is incomparable to any host of Guangdong Television. She has hosted many classic programs including "Ten Thousand Purples and Thousands of Reds", "Family Everything", "Holiday Leisure" and so on.
Ma Ting impressed the audience the most was the "Cash Cow" column hosted by her and Liu Jingdong, she once said: "Being a host is the same as being a person, only by being sincere and sincerely invested can we get everyone's recognition." And Ma Ting hosts the show always likes to stand on the audience's vision to explore information, and her very grounded image of Ah Ying in "Cash Cow" is even more deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with cancer before she retired, and left everyone in 2016 due to the incurable cancer.
