On July 31, 1974, a vice minister of public security came to Lu Zhengcao's hospital room and announced on the spot that Lü Zhengcao had been released from custody.
In the afternoon, Lu Zhengcao came to the Great Hall of the People to attend the reception of the "Eighth and First" Founding Day.
Facing him was Zhang Chunqiao, who said to Lu Zhengcao without smiling:
You don't have any other problems, but there are still problems in the early days of the Cultural Revolution.
Lu Zhengcao knew that he was a "smiling tiger" and said without joy or anger:
Not only were there problems in the early stage of the movement, but there were also problems in the past work, and there will be problems in the future work.
It just so happened that Deng Xiaoping came over: each has its own account.
Lü Zhengcao continued to walk toward the small auditorium, and Zhou Enlai came, held his hand tightly, and said in a serious tone:
Let the past pass...
When he returned home from the reception, his wife Liu Sha and the children were waiting for him.
Lu Zhengcao held his wife tightly in his arms and said emotionally: In the past 7 years, you have worked hard...

Liu Sha is a native of Baoding, Hebei. When I was in high school in Beiping, I participated in the "one, two nine" movement.
In July 1937, Liu Sha graduated from high school and returned to his hometown to participate in the anti-Japanese work led by the Communist Party.
At that time, Lü Zhengcao served as the commander of the Jizhong Military Region.
Because of his outstanding performance in his work and his culture, Liu Sha was promoted and promoted to be the deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Women's Rescue Association of Jizhong District.
Huang Jing was doing political work, and seeing that Lu Zhengcao had returned many times in the rain of bullets and bullets or was still a person, he wanted to introduce him to an object. This person is Liu Sha.
Huang Jing first consulted Lü Zhengcao before going to talk to Liu Sha.
Liu Sha directly refused, saying that it was too restrictive to marry the chief.
Later, Lu Zhengcao personally talked to Liu Sha and persuaded her. On New Year's Day 1942, in the Organ Department of the Jizhong Military Region, Lü Zhengcao and Liu Sha got married!

In April 1966, Liu Sha, who had returned to Beijing from a medical treatment abroad, felt that the atmosphere was abnormal.
At that time, Liu Sha was the deputy director of the Education Bureau of the Eighth Machine Ministry. Lu Zhengcao is the minister of railways.
On May 16, at an enlarged politburo meeting held by the Central Committee in Hangzhou, some people said that Lu Zhengcao had once engaged in the "Taoyuan Three Knots" in the northeast.
Unexpectedly, this incident became the fuse.
On January 13, 1967, when the Ministry of Railways held an "anti-economicism oath meeting", Lu Zhengcao was severely beaten by people who did not know the truth.
Fortunately, Zhou Enlai arrived in time.
Zhou Enlai personally lifted up Lü Zhengcao and told the railway soldiers on duty:
You must ensure Lu Zhengcao's working and living conditions!
On July 12, 1967, Lu Zhengcao was "mysteriously" imprisoned.
And Liu Sha was not spared.

On February 9, 1970, Liu Sha came out.
It was because of the frequent attacks of angina pectoris that he was approved to return to Beijing for treatment after many applications.
Knowing that Lü Zhengcao was seriously ill, Liu Sha quickly wrote a letter to Chairman Mao and applied for a visit.
It was not until April 26 that Liu Sha took his children to Tongxian to visit her husband, whom he had not seen for five years.
Due to the loss of 3 teeth, the deep concave cheeks are even thinner, Liu Sha saw that her husband, who seemed to be 20 years old, could not cry!
Liu Sha shook her husband's hand and said:
Tell The truth to Chairman Mao and write to him directly...
Back at home, Liu Sha wrote another letter to Zhou Enlai.
At the same time, Liu Sha sent the materials written by Lü Zhengcao to Wang Zhen, Ye Jianying, Gu Mu, Hu Yaobang...
In particular, Wang Zhen, at the meeting of the Central Business Group, refused to reason for Lü Zhengcao's affairs and fought for the sake of righteousness!
In January 1973, Mao Zedong issued a directive in Lü Zhengcao's report: "Lift guardianship."
It was not until July 1974 that Lu Zhengcao was actually released from custody. And got back to work!
After retiring from work, Lu Zhengcao and his wife lived together day and night.
Play bridge, play Go, read books...
Until 2006, Liu Sha died of illness at the age of 90!
