This is a somewhat mottled and mutilated old photograph with the inscription "Group Photo of the First Phase of the Accounting Training Course for Agricultural Production Cooperatives in Jianshui, Shiping and Longwu Counties", which was when the personnel of the three counties gathered in a certain place for centralized training in September 1954.
Historically, the old photos involving Jianshui and Shiping County are actually not few, but there are not many photos involving Longwu County, because the history of Longwu County has existed for a short time, there is no county history, and then merged into Shiping County, so some historical background can refer to the "Shiping County Chronicle" to see. According to the "Chronicle of Shiping County", in 1954, the Shiping County Party Committee carried out the pilot work of establishing a primary agricultural production cooperative in the first district (now Tao Village) and the second district (now Maohe). He successively established the Peace Society in Wang Sanzhai, the Red Flag Society in Darui City, and the Victory Society in the Center Left. Since then, agricultural production cooperatives throughout the county have sprung up and been established one after another. It was in this context that the accounting training course for the three-county merged agricultural production cooperative was born.
