In order to further promote the special action of "Sword and Bud Protection" and earnestly do a good job in the protection of minors, recently, the Party Committee and Government of Longwu Town organized the staff of the town's comprehensive management office, police station, market supervision and management office, judicial office, primary and secondary schools, town cultural station and other relevant functional stations to form an inspection team to carry out joint law enforcement and inspection actions in key industries and venues through the method of "inspection + popularization of law".
In this law enforcement inspection, the barbecue stalls, KTVs, hotels, billiard rooms, shops around the campus and other industry venues within the jurisdiction of the town were investigated and rectified, focusing on checking whether each venue strictly implements the "real-name registration" and "five musts" systems, and whether warning signs prohibiting minors from entering are hung in conspicuous positions, and whether minors are allowed to enter the premises in violation of regulations, and whether there is a situation of selling tobacco and alcohol to minors. At the same time, the fire safety hazards existing in each place were carefully investigated, and the business qualifications, food safety and other aspects were also checked one by one, and the problems found were recorded one by one, and the relevant places were urged to immediately rectify and eliminate the hidden dangers.
Focusing on the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Minors", "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency", "Regulations on the Administration of Entertainment Venues" and other legal knowledge, the inspection team conducted legal publicity and education to operators, employees and consumers, emphasizing the importance of the protection of minors, requiring operators to abide by laws and regulations, strictly perform corresponding legal responsibilities, strictly implement all provisions on the protection of minors, and actively participate in the protection of minors.
In this joint law enforcement action, a total of 18 key industry venues were inspected, one was inspected and one was supervised, which further improved the sense of responsibility of operators, increased the society's attention to the protection of minors, and created a safer environment for minors to grow up.
In the next step, Longwu Town will continue to strictly implement the work requirements of the "Sword and Bud" special action, strengthen linkage, form a joint force, increase law enforcement inspections in key industries, and strictly crack down on illegal acts that infringe on the rights and interests of minors with a high-pressure posture of "zero tolerance", create a good social security and cultural environment, and escort the healthy growth of minors.
