Li Bai was fifteen years old and knew the Five Classics, and he dreamed of flowers at the head of the pen, and later he was gifted and famous all over the world. He likes to travel, dance swords, and do chivalrous deeds. As a man of light wealth and good charity, he once walked to Rencheng and lived with Kong Chao's father, Han Zhun, Pei Zheng, Zhang Shuming, and Tao Yuan in the Wandering Mountains, drinking every day, called "Zhuxi Liuyi".
In the early years of Tianbao, Li Bai came to Chang'an from Bashu, and before he was famous, he showed the poems he had written to He Zhizhang, who read the "Shu Dao Difficulty" and sighed: "You are an immortal who has been degraded to the human world. With the same spirits, He Zhizhang untied the golden turtle for wine and drank with Li Bai. Later, He Zhizhang recommended Li Bai to Tang Xuanzong. Tang Xuanzong summoned Li Bai to the Golden Ruan Hall and discussed current affairs with him, Li Bai played an ode, Xuanzong was quite satisfied, gave him wine and food, drunk, Xuanzong personally gave him a soup of wine and soup, and also let him serve hanlin.
Li Bai once got drunk and drew up an edict for the emperor, asking Gao Lishi to take off his boots. Gao Lishi held a grudge in his heart and accused him of comparing Zhao Feiyan to Yang Guifei in the poem "QingPing Tune", thus angering Yang Guifei. After that, every time Emperor Xuanzong wanted to give an official to Li Bai, Yang Guifei obstructed from it. Li Bai also became more and more arrogant, and together with He Zhizhang, Li Shizhi, Ruyang Wang Xuan, Cui Zongzhi, Su Jin, Zhang Xu, and Jiao Sui, he was called the "Eight Immortals of Drinking". Since it could not be reused, Li Bai begged Xuanzong to return it, and the emperor gave him gold to return it.
After that, Li Bai traveled leisurely, wanting to climb Mount Hua, drunkenly riding a donkey through the local administrative office, the county order did not know that the person coming was Li Bai, was furious, and detained him in court and asked: "What are you, how dare you be rude!" Li Bai did not answer what his name was, but only said: "I once asked the emperor to wipe the vomit for me with a hand towel, personally concocted the wine soup for me, and also asked Yang Guifei to hold a stone for me and let Gao Lishi take off my boots for me." In front of the Tianzi Gate, I can still ride a horse, but in this Huayin County, I can't even ride a donkey? The county order knew that the person coming was Li Bai and hurried to make amends. Li Bai laughed and left.
Later, An Lushan rebelled, Tang Xuanzong fled to Shudi, and the Yong King Li Xuanjiedu was southeast. Li Bai was at Lushan at the time, and was recruited by the Yong King as a staff member. When Li Xuan rebelled, Li Bai fled back to Pengze. Li Yong's king Li Xuan failed to raise an army, and Li Bai was also detained in Xunyang Prison. Fortunately, when Li Baiyou first traveled to the state, he once saved Guo Ziyi's life. At this time, Guo Ziyi was willing to dismiss the official to atone for Li Bai's sins, so the emperor spared Li Bai the death penalty and exiled him to Yelang.
Xie Gongshan
In his later years, Li Bai liked the learning of Huang Laozhi, and when he was riding a boat to cross the Niuzhu Rock, he was drunk and fished for the moon, and accidentally sank into the water and died. Before his death, Li Bai's idol was Xie Gong, who once wrote a poem "bowing down to Xie Xuancheng all his life", and many times climbed the Qingshan Mountain of the Xie family, hanging Xie Gong, and after his death, he was buried in Xie Gongshan, and Xie Yan was a distant neighbor.
