Recently, British photographer Alex Nail was trapped in a tent by thousands of midges while camping in the Scottish Highlands of Torridon. Alex was reportedly photographing the scenery in the Scottish Highlands, and when he wanted to capture a beautiful sunset, he found swarms of midges densely packed around the tent, and Alex said: "I can't walk out of the tent at all". "I've camped in the highlands many times in the summer, but I've never seen midges like this, kind of like a storm," he says. Experts warn that the UK will suffer more midge attacks than last year due to hot and humid weather.
