In 2017, Yi Xing participated in the arrest of an armed drug trafficking gang in Guangzhou. Gang members are scattered around apartments in an urban village and on different floors of a neighborhood. "I was so impressed that we broke five doors." In this operation, the police arrested more than a dozen drug traffickers, seized 30 pieces of heroin (about 350 grams each), and several offensive weapons.
This is not the first time that Yi Xing has faced a "moment of life and death". In the contest with all kinds of vicious blades and sinister guns, he participated in the investigation and handling of more than 600 major drug-related cases with a high degree of responsibility and excellent professional skills, which dealt a heavy blow to the arrogance of drug criminals and made outstanding contributions to reversing the drug situation in Guangzhou. Liu Zhijun, like Yi Xing, has faced dangerous armed drug traffickers. In a case involving drug trafficking abroad in 2016, Liu Zhijun found through investigation that the gang was not only involved in drugs, but also had a background involving black and guns. "We were in a parking lot, and after we caught the suspect, we found three military grenades in his car." Liu Zhijun told reporters.
Faced with murderous drug traffickers many times, Liu Zhijun has also been injured. During an arrest operation, the suspect violently resisted the law and wrestled with Liu Zhijun, causing him to suffer a waist injury. However, after only a week of rest, he returned to his post and continued to fight on the front line of anti-drug control.
Since being transferred to the post of deputy commander of the anti-narcotics brigade, Liu Zhijun has overcome difficulties, forged ahead, forged ahead bravely on the anti-narcotics battlefield, was flexible and changeable, and displayed superb anti-narcotics reconnaissance ability and fearless spiritual outlook.
