Ms. Qiu of Tiantai County, Zhejiang Province, is anxious to find the lost pet cat, and the clues provided by the credulous man Xu Mou have been paid to him again and again, and a total of nearly 50,000 yuan has been defrauded. Recently, the Tiantai court sentenced defendant Xu Mouyi to two years and two months in prison and a fine of 30,000 yuan for fraud.
In August this year, Ms. Qiu's pet cat went missing and released an online cat search notice. Soon, a man contacted her and sent a photo of a pet cat, saying that the cat was picked up by his friend and had taken the cat to Guangdong, if he wanted to return, he had to pay a consignment fee of 1380 yuan, and Ms. Qiu did not think much about it. After that, the other party asked for money in the name of nucleic acid testing, vaccination, surgical implantation of positioning chips and other types of cats, and Ms. Qiu transferred money again and again, a total of 49638.9 yuan before and after, but still did not see her own cat. Ms. Qiu wanted to get the money back, and the other party delayed for various reasons, and finally blocked her WeChat friends. On August 30, Ms. Qiu called the police.
On September 22, the police arrested the criminal suspect Xu Mou in Nanning City, Guangxi Province. According to his account, after seeing the cat hunting notice, he downloaded a similar cat photo and contacted Ms. Qiu to lie about the whereabouts of the cat. Because he is also a native of Tiantai, dialect communication makes Ms. Qiu lower her guard. After the first success, he grabbed Ms. Qiu's psychology of returning to the cat's heart, and continued to cheat successfully, and when Ms. Qiu reacted, he blocked WeChat.

The police interrogated criminal suspect Xu Mou.
Xu was sentenced to 7 months in prison for fraud in 2019. During the interrogation, Xu also confessed to the fact that he had defrauded people who sought second-hand goods and loans many times this year, and a total of 65,000 yuan in cash was defrauded.
