Zaza Pachuria was originally named Zaur at birth, but he later changed his name to Zaza. Zaza, who was born in Georgia, currently has dual Georgian and Turkish citizenship, but he has always chosen to play for Georgia.
By the time pachulia was 13 years old, he had grown to 2.03 meters tall, which made him unstoppable among children of the same age. In 1999, Zaza, who had rarely met opponents in Georgia, was photographed by turkey's Ülkerspor club and went to Turkey, where basketball was more atmospheric, when he was 15 years old.
There's an important person on Zaza's basketball path — Vladimir Stepania, georgia's first NBA player in history, who plays as a center and has averaged 4.1 points, 4,4 rebounds per game in his NBA career. In the 2007–08 season, Pachulia was nicknamed "Balboa" by NBA reporters for clashing with Kevin Garnett on the court, that is, loki Balboa, the protagonist of the movie "Rocky". Interestingly, Zaza and Loki's actors also look a bit godlike.
Atalanta is zaza's longest NBA city (8 seasons) and is half his hometown. A restaurant was opened in Zaza, Atlanta, but it is now closed. Outside of the arena, Zazapo is a master of cooking, according to himself, in Turkey, where he excelled in al fresco French and Spanish cuisine.
Speaking of Georgia and Georgia, where Atlanta is located, there is another interesting thing. The two places spelled out the same in English, both are Georgia. The word is pronounced Georgian in Latin when translated, and is pronounced in English close to Georgia. Zaza's second home in Atlanta is probably related to this.
There's another reason Pachulia and the Hawks have a relationship, and this team is the first NBA team in history to visit Georgia. In 1988, the United States sent NBA teams to visit Georgia, which was still part of the Soviet Union at the time, including the Eagles, and played against the Soviet men's basketball team in Georgia.
In addition to cooking, Zaza is also a fashionista and has worked as a fashion editor for HOOP magazine. Taking off the jersey, Zaza's outfit is also quite distinctive, and it can be seen that there has indeed been work in this regard.
