This means that if you can get the same good results, the fewer conditions used, the better.
Before I met Evernote, I didn't like to read, I didn't like to take reading notes, and I couldn't write publicly. The combination of "Evernote + Read More" reshaped my reading habits, prompting me to take reading notes and start writing openly.
"Evernote + read more" is in line with Occam's razor law.
Our daily process of reading a paper book may be: understanding the book (10 minutes) - placing an order to buy (10 minutes) - receiving the paper book (1-3 days) - starting to read + reading notes (7 days) - manually sorting to Evernote (0.5 days). Total time spent: 12,260 - 15,140 minutes.
The process of "Evernote + Read More" is: understand the book (10 minutes) - place an order to buy or import the book (10 minutes) - start reading + reading notes (7 days) - automatically organize to Evernote (1 minute). Total time consumed: 10,101 minutes.
Below I will take the book "Your Knowledge Needs to Be Managed" as an example, and use "Evernote + Read More" to share how I made reading notes.
<h1>First, the reading notes are electronic</h1>
Most of the books I currently read are e-books, and the benefits of e-books are innumerable, and they will get better and better as technology evolves.
Start by downloading an e-book reading software that preferably supports exporting notes (dashes and your ideas) or syncing them into the note-taking software.
At present, what I know is more than reading, JD reading, and getting the support of these three software to synchronize notes into Evernote.
I'm using Multi-Look Reading, and the image below is the effect after synchronization.
After reading a book, the most important two points are:
(1) Whether there is a solution to your problem, we should read with the problem
(2) Whether the essence of the book (interesting ideas, sentences, and your feelings at the time) is electronic
If there is no step to do (2), reading a book others can absorb 80%, you can absorb 40%, or even less, over the years, others read one book is equivalent to you reading two, the gap is slowly widened.

<h1>Second, what should be synchronized to Evernote</h1>
The content of a book is composed of the following six aspects:
(1) Concept (2) Character (3) Story (4) Point of View (5) Method (6) Golden Sentence
Then in the process of reading, we should write the content of these six parts and write ideas to annotate.
For example, for the explanation of the concept of (1), we can make this comment: What is the + keyword.

You can also make some annotation marks and process them when you process the reading notes for the second time.
The advantage of this is that when you need to write or share it with others, the views, data, and cases you need are all gathered together to facilitate the processing and extraction of information.
What can also be done is to keep the catalog of books, which I saw in the article of the third son before that she had a habit:
I have a strange habit that when I finish a book, I may not take the initiative to do mind mapping (in fact, I do do do less), but I will definitely type the cataloger again.
The earlier version of this model was that after reading a book, I copied the table of contents and had a folder for them. If I were to look up the information in the book later, I would go straight to the table of contents. Later, I found that the copied table of contents could not reflect the function of retrieval, so I decided to enter a copy in the computer, when I entered the table of contents chapter, I would think about what this part said, can I quickly reflect it, if it can be directly reflected, I will write my own views on this part of the content under the table of contents of this chapter, which is a stage short review. If you can't remember, then stop and repeat this chapter quickly, anyway, I have the habit of drawing the key points when reading books, so that I can directly look at the main points and quickly arouse memory.
When I organize the table of contents every once in a while, I will add a short review under the table of contents chapters, so that over time, I will know that the same book I review at different times and will have different understandings.
You can also keep the copyright page and know when the book was edited and published, and you need to pay attention to the contents of the book if you quote it later. As Mr. Drok, the columnist, said: Knowledge must be verified and revised frequently, especially those who hear from others.
<h1>Third, the reading notes are regurgitated in Evernote</h1>
Rumination is when some animals eat semi-digested food from the stomach back into their mouths and chew them again after a period of time.
The regurgitation of reading notes refers to the fact that we need to synchronize the content in the second step into The Evernotes, take it out again, read it carefully, think repeatedly, and preferably relate to our existing knowledge and change behavior.
When to reprocess, my personal experience is to regurgitate after a week, and the time of reprocessing can be selected at the weekend time period:
Friday night
Saturday during the day
Saturday night
Sunday during the day
Sunday evening
Mr. Yang once said, "Taking notes is time-consuming. Zhong Shu took about twice as long as he did to read the book."
When reprocessing, you can start from several aspects:
(1) Combine your own growth experience with your previous experience and the explicit knowledge and information written by the author to produce your own implicit knowledge. (2) Mark the focus and highlight it
(3) Add time to the title of a reading note In Evernote a note should have three times
The time the note was created
The time when the notes were updated
The time to complete the reading, processing, and classification of notes, that is, to increase the time in the title of the note
After the above steps to form the final version of the reading notes, classified into reading notes or other notebooks, convenient for subsequent search.
We know that every time a search engine searches for the same keyword, it produces a different combination of results and returns a huge amount of information.

We should not spend our limited time in judging infinite information, and when we encounter problems, we search directly in search engines, even if the quality of the answers we finally find is high, it is still a new knowledge for you, and the new knowledge may bring you neurological stimulation only once.
While Searching in Evernote can be repeatedly stimulated, it naturally helps digest and absorb understanding innovations.
When searching in Evernote, you can use the search syntax of the plus and minus signs to improve the search efficiency.
For example, if we search for the keyword "Apple", whether it refers to the Apple mobile phone or the fruit or Fan Bingbing's movie.
If only we want to find the note "Apple Fruit". You can use the + sign to search for syntax.
If the note "Apple Fruit" is not included in the search results we want, we can use the minus syntax.
