Kangle chicken, also known as three yellow chicken, is a local excellent egg meat breed chicken in Wanzai County, Jiangxi Province, and is also one of the most valuable chicken breeds in Jiangxi.
According to legend, in the first year of the Jin Dynasty (280 AD), this chicken was listed as a product, and because of its proud appearance and delicious meat, it was deeply pleasing to Emperor Wu of Jin, and was given the name Kangle Chicken.
The physical characteristics of the chicken are yellow mouth, yellow hair, and yellow skin. The chicken has thin skin, tender meat, crisp bones, fresh taste and high nutritional value.
Kangle chicken is highly adaptable, resistant to rough feeding, and can still grow and develop normally under extensive feeding management conditions.
Breeding method: First, incubation. The masses mostly use natural incubation. A chicken incubates 18-22 eggs per nest, usually in early spring from February to March. There are also habits of solving the "new rice chicken" in May and June, incubating the "osmanthus chicken" in August and September, and incubating the "winter chicken" in October and November. 2. The chicks of this chicken are 20-25 days old and have long feathers, and the rooster is 60 days old. At the beginning of the 3-4 months of age, the adult rooster weighs 4-5 pounds, the body is thick and strong, the coat is brownish yellow or reddish brown, the tail is upturned in a V-shape, and there are several jet-black shiny feathers. The hen has a delicate head, yellow feathers, and blunt or slightly upturned tail feathers. 160-180 days old, 160-200 eggs per year, egg weight 45-55 grams, eggshell light brown, adult hen weight 2,5-3.5 kg, hugging. Kangle chicken has a beautiful appearance, the iris is yellow, the single anger is straight, and its leaves are red.
Kangle chicken, due to the golden color of the coat, Hong Kong and Macao residents figure out its "auspicious". Export 10,000-20,000 pieces a year.
