What's different?
I am a Butken sheep from The Barken Oblast of Kyrgyzstan. I now live with my brothers and sisters in the Tulasayi Farmers' Professional Cooperative in Kangxibier Village, Heiziwei Township, Ucha County, Xinjiang.
I came from afar to Kezhou, Xinjiang, but I didn't come to mix food and drink, I came with a mission - to run a well-off life with the people here.
The story has to start when I first arrived
In 2014, the first farmers' professional cooperative in Kangxibier Village, Heiziwei Township, Ucha County, was established with the breeding of Bartken sheep as the main line, and the cooperative used the production and operation mode of "cooperative + farm + poor household" to increase the income of breeding for more poor households and ordinary households here.
It was at that time that my brothers and sisters came to the cooperative, and the local people worked hard to make the farm "up to standard" in order to provide a comfortable living environment.
A standard farm needs to have feeding, cooling, ventilation, excretion and cleaning, aquaculture waste disposal and other links, each link needs reliable power support, with the increase of village farms, new equipment continues to invest, the original 30 kVA transformer gradually "can not eat".
After the State Grid Kezhou Power Supply Company learned about the relevant situation, it organized employees to go into the village to investigate, and carefully arranged and constructed various construction plans such as line direction, distribution and capacity increase, and completed the transformation of distribution and transformation in only 3 days.
At the beginning of the establishment of the Tulassayi Farmers' and Herdsmen's Professional Cooperative, it used 220 volts of single electricity. Since 2016, the State Grid Kezhou Power Supply Company has helped our cooperative to solve the demand for 380 volt three power electricity.
I was very happy that the equipment such as forage mills, lawn mowers, conveyor belts and other equipment was busy and orderly.
Because I know that there is sufficient electricity to do the guarantee, this meal is finished, and the next meal will still come on time.
Since the power supply staff came, I can no longer see the farmers and herdsmen of the cooperative worried about electricity
The equipment in the cooperative is still running normally, but it is still common to see the power supply staff coming, sometimes looking around, sometimes teaching the villagers something, sometimes helping the villagers work.
Originally, power supply employees went to cooperatives and farms and poor households to understand the production of electricity conditions and needs, provide technical guidance and consulting services for safe electricity use, inspect lines and facilities, and eliminate hidden dangers of electricity consumption in the first time. Farmers are reminded to maintain their internal electrical equipment regularly.
Power supply staff: Farmers lack the basic knowledge of safe electricity use, we have to often come to check the line, more for them to popularize knowledge, in order to rest assured.
The head of the cooperative: The cooperative currently has 6 staff members, the income in recent years is very good, we are ready to add hundreds of sheep, and recruit another 20 staff to ensure their stable monthly income.
Co-op employee: I came to work at this co-op in 2017 and my life has gotten better and better over the past three years. I herd sheep outside in the summer and work in cooperatives in the winter, in addition to learning a lot of techniques, such as delivering sheep.
Sheep: When I become an adult, the yield of meat is about 35-60 kilograms, and the local price is 3500 yuan -10000 yuan / piece, and the farmers have a strength to increase their income!
Nowadays, there are more than 2194 Barthken breeding sheep in our cooperative, more than 65820 kirgiz sheep in Ucha County with improved breeds, helping local poor households increase their income by 30 million yuan, benefiting 5152 poor households and more than 2000 general households.
In November, the village of Kangxibier in Heiziwei Township has begun to cool down, but our cooperative is hot, and the hearts of the herders are even hotter.
Electricity is enough, and the momentum to get rich is also more sufficient.
