Li Zhuoren, chairman of the dissolved anti-China and chaotic Hong Kong organization "Branch Association," Vice Chairmen Ho Chun-yan and Zou Xingtong, and the "Branch Federation" were charged with one crime of "inciting subversion of state power" on suspicion of violating Hong Kong's national security law. Nandu reporter noted that on October 28, the case was reopened at the West Kowloon Court, and the judge again rejected Zou Xingtong's bail application, while Ho Chun Yan and Li Cheuk-jin did not apply for bail, and all three were continued to be detained by the Hong Kong Correctional Services Department. In addition, at the request of the prosecution, the case will be postponed until January next year for retrial.

On October 28, cai Yaochang, the liquidator of the "branch federation", also appeared in court to respond to the trial, and Judge Luo Quan temporarily listed him as a "interested" person for further investigation by the police. According to the prosecution, on the day the Hong Kong police arrested the defendants, they found 60 boxes of documents, 50 memory sticks and 9 electronic devices in the "Branch Federation" meeting site and warehouse, and wanted to watch 150 hours of video clips, asking the court to postpone the retrial of the case, and finally the judge decided to postpone the case until January 10 next year for retrial.

Nandu previously reported that Li Zhuoren, chairman of the "Branch Federation," former vice chairman Ho Chun Yan, and vice chairman Zou Xingtong were all charged with several charges, including suspected of violating Hong Kong's national security law and inciting others to subvert state power. Previously, on the afternoon of September 25, the "Branch Federation" had held a special general meeting of members, passed the dissolution motion with 41 votes in favor and 4 votes against, and announced that it had entered the liquidation and dissolution procedure.

On 26 October, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), in conjunction with the Executive Council, ordered the Registrar of Companies to remove "branch associations" from the companies register in accordance with the relevant ordinances. According to reports, the relevant order was made after taking into account the preliminary proposal of the Commissioner of Police and the relevant information attached thereto, the opinion of the Secretary for Security, and the submission of one of the directors of the "Branch Federation" and the "Branch Federation". The HKSAR Government also gazetted on this issue on the same day.

On October 27, Lee Ka-chiu, Chief Secretary for Administration of the HONG KONG SAR Government, said that the programme of the "Branch Federation" subverts state power, and the SAR government has the responsibility to take the initiative to prevent acts endangering the country. Li Jiachao stressed that no one should take any action to endanger national security, and if the government discovers the relevant situation, it will not hesitate to act quickly, because there is no place for compromise in national security.
