Today, the 20th Cross-Strait College Students Debate Tournament is coming strongly, and more than 80 debaters from 16 colleges and universities on both sides of the strait , including Tsinghua University and Taiwan Chengchi University (8 on each side of the strait), will participate in this grand debate event held in Fuzhou through the "cloud debate" video link from October 29 to 31.

The debate is the core of a debate competition, and this year's debate focuses on the current hot spots of science and technology, society and youth, which can not only be based on the present, but also imagine the future.
Exploring the vast universe, developing the space industry, and building a space power are the space dreams that we unremittingly pursue. The three astronauts on the Shenzhou 13 manned spacecraft are looking out over the vast and deep space and overlooking the vast expanse of the earth, arguing whether mankind's 'Mars migration plan' will become a reality or not," which will promote young people on both sides of the strait to understand the history of the leapfrog development of China's spaceflight from scratch, from small to large, and from weak to strong, and further stimulate the national pride of young people on both sides of the strait.
Affected by the epidemic, the development of otaku culture has received widespread attention, and "whether otaku culture makes life more exciting or more decadent" will also cause a war of words among young people on both sides of the strait.
In addition, for the first time, the sea debate competition also launched a pre-competition street investigation program, focusing on three debate questions to derive related topics of common concern to young people on both sides of the strait, "Is it a waste of life to stay at home?" "Do young people have to complain when they suffer in the workplace?" "There are other planets to choose from, do you still live on Earth?" Conduct street surveys.

Two new members have been added to this year's competition- Ningxia University and Changhua Normal University in Taiwan, what kind of wonderful performance will they bring to us when they are participating in the team for the first time? In addition, Tsinghua University, Nanjing University, East China Normal University and other mainland university teams, Chengchi University, Soochow University, Shih Hsin University and other Taiwan university teams will once again be dressed up, and what new views and new fun will they bring to us after they have appeared many times in the Sea Debate Competition? Famous schools gathered, masters like clouds, I believe that they have experienced hundreds of battles, full of youth and vitality, will definitely bring us a wonderful "peak showdown".
At the same time, in order to ensure the fairness and professionalism of the competition, the sea debate competition specially invited eight expert judges from both sides of the Straits with rich experience and industry visibility.
At the main venue in Fuzhou were Four judges, including Professor Wang Anbai of the School of Marxism of Southwest University of Political Science and Law, Professor Li Dafu of the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture of Guangxi University, and Liu Yanli, vice chairman of the Taipei Rizhi Cultural and Educational Association and the best debater in the whole process of the 2010 International College group debate, and Su Bairui, lawyer of Bo Rui Law Firm and debater of the 2001 International College Debate Conference, who will form a powerful jury to jointly guide the way for debaters on both sides of the strait.
