In the field greenhouse of Nansha Zhizheng Farm, 60 acres of sunshine rose grapes are fruitful, with an annual output of more than 60,000 catties, and the planting scale will be further expanded next year. The relevant person in charge of Nansha Zhizheng Farm told reporters that by studying the sunshine rose planting technology, improving the soil environment and scientific field management, it is possible to achieve a continuous supply of sunshine rose grapes from June to January next year, which was impossible for traditional agriculture before. At the same time, Zhizheng Farm also developed the "Internet + Agriculture" model, the sunshine rose grapes picked in the field, through the Internet sales method, on the same day directly to the community residents in Guangzhou, where the sunshine rose grapes grown are sold out every month.
It is reported that Zhizheng Farm is also a modern agricultural demonstration base of Wanqingsha, in addition to sunshine rose grapes, there are also golden passion fruit, Giant Peak grapes, sapphire grapes and other characteristic crops planted. Through the introduction and planting of high-quality and high-value special fruits, in accordance with the unified planning, unified management, unified technology to build a high standard of the park, a large number of organic fertilizers to improve the soil, green prevention and control of diseases and insect pests, thereby reducing the use of pesticides, improve the quality and safety of agricultural products. The existing area of the base is 180 acres, and in the future, it will be built into a modern agricultural demonstration base integrating flower and fruit appreciation, picking and play, leisure vacation, science education and the introduction and promotion of new varieties.
"Doctor Fish Farming" to create a scientific and technological fishery brand
In 2018, the aquaculture area in Nansha District was 103,300 mu, accounting for 30% of the total area of the city; the total output value of aquatic products was 3.459 billion yuan, ranking first in the city in terms of scale and output value. Yang Huijun, the founder of Chengyi Aquaculture Co., Ltd., is a doctor of Sun Yat-sen University, and "doctor fish farming" also gives Chengyi Aquatic Products a special scientific and technological atmosphere. The automatic feeder and meteorological detection station by the pond save the use of breeding manpower. "In the past, one worker could only take care of about 50 acres of fish ponds per day, but now each worker can take care of 200 acres of fish ponds." The person in charge of Seiichi Aquatic Products said.
The company is also building a smart fishery management system, developing artificial intelligence technology, and more scientifically managing the whole process of anchovy farming through the application of modern technologies such as the farm central control center, the water quality online monitoring and control system, the intelligent bait management system, and the video surveillance system. It is understood that the company currently has an annual output of 15,000 tons of fresh carp, with an output value of about 200 million yuan, and is the largest grass carp breeding demonstration base in South China.
Strive to complete the overall relocation of the Municipal Academy of Agricultural Sciences within two years and gather scientific research resources
At present, the total agricultural area of Nansha is 355,000 mu (including 66,000 mu of state-owned enterprises in the district), of which 252,000 mu are planting and 103,000 mu are aquaculture. The scale of cultivated land in Nansha is in the top three of the city's districts. The relevant person in charge of the Nansha District Agricultural and Rural Bureau said that Nansha is actually an agricultural region, committed to the development of modern agricultural industry, which will further promote the revitalization of rural areas and the construction of beautiful villages in Nansha. To this end, Nansha has carried out planning work such as the "Nansha District Modern Agricultural Development Plan (2020-2035)". In terms of the construction of seed towns, Sinochem Southern Modern Agriculture, Sino-Chinese (South China) Seed Industry Co., Ltd., Sinochem Life Science (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd., and Academician Yuan Longping Workstation have been stationed; in terms of modern fishery industry construction, Nansha Fishery Modern Agricultural Industrial Park has been listed as a provincial-level modern agricultural industrial park.
As one of the four major parks in Guangzhou to create a national modern agricultural industry science and technology innovation center, the seed industry town will build functional areas such as scientific research, enterprise headquarters building, talent apartment, academician workstation and so on. It is understood that Nansha will strive to complete the construction of the new site and the overall relocation of the Guangzhou Academy of Agricultural Sciences within two years. The Municipal Academy of Agricultural Sciences hopes to cooperate with Nansha to build the "Nansha Agricultural Science Innovation Center", and at the same time intends to use the existing base to carry out the exploration of ecological comprehensive agricultural circular economy. In addition, the Institute of Biological Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences cooperated with Guansheng Group to establish the Guansheng Seed Industry Research Institute, and several doctors have been working in Nansha.
