Revisit Shaoxing, revisit Shen Garden, small bridges and flowing water pavilions, everywhere is full of indifference and elegance, everywhere lingers on land and tang. And the most poignant and vivid expression of this love and beauty of this garden is the new Yue opera "Lu You and Tang Wan" of Mao Weitao and Xiaobaihuayue Opera Troupe, which is like the shadow of the branches and leaves in Qingxi, eternal and ethereal. A literati Yue opera, an ink Yue opera, a poignant Yue opera, a Shen Yuan Yue opera. There are many water spirits, many subtleties, and many poignant songs. Although I watched it a few years ago, I still have no end to it, and I always reminisce about it.
At the moment of opening the play, people are calmed down, and the curtain like a curtain like a non-opening reveals the moon cave door in the distance, reveals the plum blossom shadow in the oblique thorn, and reveals the noisy Shen Garden where the soldiers are like clouds. Everything in the screen is looming, it seems to be far away or near, what can be separated, what can not be separated, it is all left to the audience to ponder. I saw that in the curtain, there were three stone round tables in the Shen Garden, and the crowds of scholars at the table were flying happily, talking and laughing indulgently, and the yarn wings on the hat were constantly flying. This is a Jing Confucian and elegant Shen Garden, this is a prosperous Shen Garden.
Just when Shen Yuan was noisy, Lu You and Tang Huan traveled hand in hand, and the joy of love complemented this background. ...... However, this veil always makes people hang their hearts and fears, it can't separate Shen Yuan's disciples, so what is it separating?
Zhonggao, a cousin who defected to the traitorous party, came to visit, and Lu Mu coveted the prosperity in front of him, so that Lu You would bend his bones and make friends with the powerful. Zhonggao's entry sang the first disharmonious sound, the dispute between Lu You and his cousin, you can argue with great emotion in person, you can whisper your sleeves differently and without conspiracy, but the dispute between Lu You and Lu Mu is helpless, there are words of suffering. The two contradictions are different from the attack of Lu You and the defense of Lu You, although both of their attacks and defenses are supported by Tang Huan, however, the support of the attack makes Zhonggao angry, and Lu Tang is in the same heart, and the support of Shou zhi will make Lu Mu suspicious and Lu Tang separated.
This first one, I call it The Shen Garden in the Yarn. Idle and timeless, poetry is intertwined. The contradiction has just arisen, and the screen is lightly separated!
The second scene is an indoor scene, the tall classical partition outside the bamboo shadow, straight but not curved, under the slight blowing of the wind, the bamboo wind bone zhengzheng is still faintly visible. Bamboo here, not only breaks the horizontal and vertical layout of the entire hall, appearing aesthetically interesting, but also slightly alleviates the tall and grim image of the hall house, and there is also an implicit meaning that symbolizes the spirit of land travel, although it stands upright in the cold autumn, it is better to bend than bend, in front of the tall hall, it looks so exquisite and petite. This set makes a good preparation and interpretation for the sublimation of the whole tragedy. At the front of the stage, there are six Taishi chairs; at the beginning, Lu Tang and Tang learned that they could go to Fuzhou's mother's house, and they couldn't help but beat the festival and celebrate, dancing swords in the bamboo shadows, playing the piano, tasting wine, chanting, and rejoicing as if they were the continuation of the previous love, suddenly, the joy was interrupted, and after Lu Mu's monologue, the two were called to the front hall by Lu Mu.
Lu Mu's dissatisfaction with Lu You's unworthy magnates gradually shifted to Tang Wan, believing that it was Tang's instigation, and when she heard that the two went to Fuzhou, her suspicions were even more doubled. She used her mother-in-law's authority to force Lu You to give Tang Huan a break. At this time, Zhonggao visited, and the bright official clothes added to the hatred in his heart, forcing it even more, and although Father Lu was also dissatisfied, he did not dare to oppose it. Lu Mu, Zhonggao, Lu You, Tang Wan, Lu Father and others take turns on the field, the characters stand or sit, the language is rich and vivid, the gestures convey the spirit and are full of personality, so the whole scene is simple but not empty and monotonous at all. If the first screen makes people feel the hazy beauty of freehand Chinese paintings, by the second scene, the audience has begun to gradually feel the heaviness of the screen, then the relationship story that can be said to be clear, why should there be so many taboos, so many hidden tolerances, so many arbitrariness, and so many screens out of thin air. In this scene, the same is the screen, the audience hopes that it will not fall, hope that it will not be so thick when it falls, and not so ruthlessly separated from Lu You and Tang Wan, a pair of Mandarin ducks.
This second game, I call it a church fight. Bamboo shadows are whimsical, and sorrow and indignation are intertwined; contradictions deepen, and the veil is heavy.
The third scene is a section in the Red Chamber where Tang Wan's bitterness is empty. Lu Youzun's mother ordered Tang Huan to be suspended, but she could not bear to tell the truth to her mother's family, so she and Lu Father placed Tang in the Red Chamber. Lu took advantage of his mother's lack of preparation to visit occasionally to prolong his feelings. The Red Chamber on the stage is actually just a small section of freehand, that is, a section of the cloister, the corner of the corridor obliquely protrudes a pink light plum blossom, and there is a small table on the right side of the stage, on which an ancient porcelain bottle is placed, and a plum blossom is inserted in the bottle. An old woman who sold flowers sent flowers to Tang Wan, but it was also this plum blossom. The arrangement of these three plum blossoms is touching. Mei is a symbol of the love between the two, because the two of them once fell in love in Shen Garden and admired Mei Yongmei; Mei is also a symbol of Lu You's spiritual character, because Lu You is in his "Bu Operator. Wing Mei wrote that there was no intention of fighting for spring, and a group of fangs was jealous, and zero fell into mud and dust, only incense as before. Therefore, Tang Huan's looking at the plum in the Red Chamber has its own special meaning. And in this little red building, there are exactly three plum blossoms, one branch inside the bottle, one branch outside the gallery, and another branch in the basket of the flower seller, these three plum blossoms are just in line with the rhyme of the ancient song "Plum Blossom Three Alleys".
The song of the three lanes is Lu Tang's favorite; the meaning of the three lanes, inside the Red Chamber, adds to the poignancy! Creation makes people, the heavenly way makes people, when will anyone be able to understand the love in this song? In this scene, the screen is in front of the meilang, which is the curtain that Tang Huan will always look at obsessively, but can never see through, because her "brother you" comes here less and less, and comes from the screen less and less. She kept asking the flower seller, "What about Brother You?" But he could not get a satisfactory answer; the person who was suspended was not embarrassed or embarrassed outside the Curtain of the Lu Family, trapped in the fascination of the Red Chamber, unable to see the love of the past, nor could he see his future.
In her spare time, she could only stroke the piano and sigh. But what can be stroked out is still the tone of the "plum blossom three lanes". This kind of "plum blossom three alleys" set design is not only a portrayal of Tang Wan's heart that misses Lu You day and night, but also hides Tang Wan's unfortunate fate. The end of "zero falling into mud and dust", what is the end of a good woman? Even though there is "incense as it was", but what is the use of people who have gone, everything is empty, incense has no source, and people have no cause? Although Lu You also came to visit, he was dressed in a green robe, like a plum blossom leaf. The plum leaf only grew out after the plum blossom withered, and this green robe, even if it could satisfy Tang Wan's momentary thoughts, was the culprit that caused her to fall into the withering.
This scene, I call it the Dream of the Red Chamber. Plum blossom three lanes, emotions intertwined; contradictions worsen, the screen is separated.
Fourth and final. The director ingeniously moved to shen garden again, there is still a screen curtain, but behind the curtain is a dilapidated Shen garden, and the scene of the crowd of scholars has declined and been alienated along with Lu Tang's love. The background is not the thriving plum blossom, but the shadow of a pool of ruined lotus, looming with bends and destitution. And this shadow of the lotus is particularly tall, occupying the Shen Garden and the audience. Lu You revisited this place, and the sadness of things being human beings, coupled with his misunderstanding of Tang Wan, made him walk slightly drunk and look painful. At this moment, he suddenly met Tang Wan, who was already the wife of Zhao Shicheng, and could not tell each other in person, the old love had not turned into ashes, and the pain of the two increased with the times. Under the narration of the flower seller and Xiao Yahuan, Lu You learned the truth of his mother's tampering with the letters, and his heart was even more remorseful.
Tang Huan missed the broken intestines, and at this time, the oil lamp was about to dry up. At the end of the background, the yarn screen uses a dashing and smooth line to type out the words "Phoenix" that occupies the entire stage, "red crispy hand, yellow vine wine", "east wind evil, thin joy", "wrong wrong wrong,...... Momomo", the words on the yarn, such as crying like a complaint, such as resentment like admiration, the words stick to two hearts, the yarn is separated by a love, counting a tragic situation for eternity. Although its meaning is beautiful, its feelings are separated, its words are beautiful, its complaints are endless, and the words on the yarn are heart-wrenching. Who wants to repeat the love tragedy of this immortal Shen Garden? Who wants to create another Shen Garden in this human world? And who wants to be willing to walk behind Tang Lu for the sake of this poignant beauty? On the stage, Mao Weitao's affectionate voice, Chen Huiling's tender interpretation, a Yue vocal duet will Lu Tang's "Phoenix" cross-sung, this unforgettable love, along with the screen, with the singing lyrics, with the tone, flying into the hearts of tens of millions of audiences, all of this, pushing this whole scene into a climax.
This scene, I also call it the Autumn Cruel Shen Garden. Love becomes the past, shame and hatred are intertwined; contradictions turn into sorrow, and the curtain is full of love.
There are several reasons why the whole drama is classic, first of all, the Yue opera stage uses the effect of Chinese painting, appropriately uses the stage blank, every drop and branch and leaf are used, giving people sufficient space for association, abandoning the gorgeous and messy so-called big scenes that are not suitable for Yue opera, and showing a distant theme of "marriage has been cruel and love is not disabled, shen yuan is not disabled although the drama is not disabled". The Yue opera stage focuses on light rhyme, with one for ten people, one tile for one house, and the space blank effect is appropriate, and the step-by-step change of scenery of Jiangnan gardens is fully transformed. Second, the Yue opera lyrics are full of skill, the content is not empty, in addition to the famous red crisp hand yellow vine wine, but also quoted hundreds of poems and allusions, but the introduction is not bad, not astringent, does not show traces, touches people's hearts, and the poetry of Lu You is all kinds of into it. The third is that the lead singer of Yue opera has excellent and impeccable skills, And Mao Weitao's Yin Pai singing voice is the deepest and most elegant among the small students, especially suitable for Lu You's amorous and indecisive, sentimental and difficult to judge the literati personality, the Yue sound itself is beautiful and euphemistic, and the southern cavity is mixed with the southern story, which is the reason for the success of the whole drama.
Shen Garden in the yarn, confrontation in the hall, Dream of the Red Chamber, Shen Garden in autumn, beauty is the most beautiful, bitter is also the most bitter. Visiting the garden to think about the opera, entering the garden to chant, I really hope that the beauty of the hazy symbol of these four acts of Yue opera and the pain of the hazy symbol will one day be performed on the stage of this Garden of Shaoxing Shen Garden, singing between the flowing waters of this wet small bridge in the south, diving into the Shen Garden at the beginning of the lantern with the wind, and the moisturizing object is silent in the heart of the more obsessed. I hope that there will be fewer such love tragedies in the world, and I hope that there will be more such Zen and beautiful Yue opera gardens in the world.
