The Ming Dynasty began scientific examinations in the third year of Hongwu, which was divided into four levels, namely the courtyard examination, the township examination, the meeting examination, and the temple examination.
The county-level examination is called the hospital examination, and once a year, the examiners are collectively referred to as tongsheng. Children are not all children, there are also seven or eighty, and those who pass the examination at this level are Xiucai. The Ming Dynasty stipulated that tombs above the level of two officials should be placed in one pair each of stone pillars, stone people, stone tigers, stone sheep, and stone horses, and one pair of three officials minus stone people.

If the heavens see love, they will be accompanied by the undead to eat; after all, there are counts of life, and there is no filial piety and regret.
In the first year of Zhengde, Chu Wei served as the secretary of the Taibu Temple, in charge of the palace carriages and horses and the national horse administration, heard that the Taizhou salt tax was high, and every year needed to pay eight hundred horses to deduct the horse tax, because Taizhou is not suitable for raising horses, can only be fostered, the table horses must be good, the foster horses must be able to use, otherwise they will have to compensate, ask the emperor to reduce the Taizhou horse tax, peace of mind to produce salt; scattered taxes are exempted, the people have little to suffer. He served as the right attendant of the household department, looking for the left, supervising the warehouse field, and wherever he went, the drawbacks that had accumulated for a long time were all corrected.
In 1953, Taishan Park was built in Taizhou City, and the two stone people, two stone horses, one stone sheep, one stone tiger and two stele in front of the excavated Chu Wei Tomb were moved to the park.

In front of the tomb, there is a Shinto, and on both sides of the Shinto road are set up a pair of stone pillars, stone horses, stone sheep, stone tigers, and stone people; the entire cemetery, including the joint burial tombs of his father Chu Xin and his brother Chu Wei, is planted with Yi trees, which are 110 zhang long from north to south, 10 zhang wide in the south, and 49 zhang in the north, covering an area of five acres and four minutes.
Behind each relic is a story, and there is something to say in the depths of each relic; cultural relics are living fossils that witness history and are living teaching materials for traditional culture, which can let us know the past and learn from the present and have a dialogue with the ancients.

At that time, Miaolian won the stone to build a high bridge, and the proud Chu Wei, who was proud of his hair, is now hidden by the scholar, and the special couplet is self-encouragement: green vegetable radish rice, clay pot Tianshui chrysanthemum tea.
One year, a civilian official came to Taizhou to serve as the chief examiner, and in his spare time, he always hung up a shanglian "two boats competing, the speed is not as fast as the sails", saying that no one can make a perfect lower link, and the people here in Taizhou are brilliant, so they may as well be right. Chu Wei had been heavy and calm, and seeing that no one was really against him, he wrote down the "eight-tone unison, diqing how to compare the flute and" on the paper and let people send it. In this pair, can there be a foreshadowing?
Chu Wei once read at the Shousheng Temple in Qinhu Lake, he climbed to the Shuiyun Tower, took a nap by the railing, looked at the Three Lakes, looked at the north mouth of the Lake West lake in Hunan, the sail shadow was lost, the water was playing, the magpie bird vibrated feathers, the egret flew, and there was a good scenery. Some people cite "looking at the Three Lakes at a glance, the north mouth of Hunan Lake West Lake" as a couplet to the upper link, but it is easy to be easy, it is difficult to be difficult, and those who do not have the wisdom cannot. You are talented and knowledgeable, and you may as well be right for pairs.
