Our county is an important historical and cultural area in northern Liaoning, the historical relics left over from various periods have left people with eternal memories, and a few days ago, with the purpose of reviewing the history of Changtu and inheriting the red history and culture, the Changtuan County Party Committee, the Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, Film and Television, and the Cultural Tourism Center organized volunteers from Changtu County to visit the Changtu Museum and the Duanmu Hongliang Memorial Hall.
Under the explanation and guidance of the docents, the volunteers visited the Changtu Museum and the pictures and cultural relics in the Duanmu Hongliang Memorial Hall, learned about the long history of Changtu, relived the glorious deeds of the revolutionary martyrs, and the life experience of the famous red scholar Duanmu Hongliang. Our county spans the eastern hills and the western grassland, connecting the Liaohe Plain and the Songnen Plain, and its special geographical location has made it a big stage for the cultural integration of various ethnic groups in the north since ancient times. The county museum displays some pictures and cultural relics of Changtu Dadi from ancient times, the beginning of civilization, bronze shining, the rise of ancient tribes, and the vicissitudes of the years before liberation, showing the deeds of the heroes and sons of Changtu who sacrificed their lives for the country before liberation.
Culture is the soul of the nation, is the spiritual driving force of social development and historical progress, through this activity, the volunteers received a historical education and red culture education. The volunteers said that they had a deeper understanding of the history of Changtu from this visit, and they should conscientiously study the hard-working spirit of the red soldiers, pass it on as a virtue, adhere to it as a kind of cultivation, advocate it as a living standard, and become the inheritors of the spirit of hard struggle.
