Our motivation to move forward
On the afternoon of October 29, the Standing Committee of the 16th People's Congress of Longting District held its 38th meeting. Zhou Hongquan, chairman of the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress, and Chen Lei, Xie Ying, and Zhuo Jiwei, deputy directors of the District People's Congress, attended the meeting. Comrade Jiang Zhensong, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress, presided over the meeting.
Wu Qiwei, member of the Standing Committee of the District CPC Committee and director of the Office of the District CPC Committee; Ma Dongdong, president of the District Court; Zhu Dengbo, chief procurator of the District Procuratorate; Cai Yuhui, deputy director of the District Supervision Commission; and Zhao Quanbo, director of the Office of the District Government, attended the meeting as observers.
According to the organization of the session, the second item of the agenda:
1. Appointment and removal of personnel;
II. Hear and deliberate reports on the public interest litigation work of the Longting District People's Procuratorate.
In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Local Organization Law" and the "Several Provisions of the Standing Committee of the Longting District People's Congress on the Appointment and Removal of Staff of State Organs," the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress voted on the personnel to be removed from office. It was decided to accept Comrade Wang Haiyan's resignation as chairman of the Longting District Supervision Commission and Comrade Wang Quan's resignation as chairman of the Beidaomen Street Working Committee of the Standing Committee of the Longting District People's Congress. Comrade Zhang Jiguang was dismissed from his post as deputy director of the Longting District Supervision Commission; Comrade Wang Wentao was dismissed from his post as a member of the Longting District Supervision Commission; Comrade Liu Jun was dismissed from his post as director of the Longting District Science and Technology and Industrial Information Technology Bureau; and a secret ballot was held on the personnel to be appointed. By vote, the proposed incumbents were elected by unanimous vote. (The list of incumbents will be announced separately)
The new incumbent took a constitutional oath in front of the national emblem. Subsequently, Comrade Zhou Hongquan, chairman of the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress, congratulated the newly appointed personnel and issued a letter of appointment.
The meeting deliberated and adopted the "Report on the Public Interest Litigation Work of the Longting District People's Procuratorate".
