James Madden, the actor who played Laser Eye in the old X-Men series of movies, was recently interviewed while promoting the new movie and was asked if he could return to the X-Men world with a different role than Laser Eye.
"Absolutely. One thing that might seem strange is rejoining Marvel or joining DC or something like that. But actually, rejoining the X-Men with a different character may seem more bizarre, but I do. Madden said in an exclusive interview with ComicBook.com.
"I mean, it's a world that I respect very much and I'm very grateful to be part of this family for a long time. It was one of the most important moments of my acting career and I was completely open to it. He added.
Madden has played laser-eye four times in X-Men, X-Men 2, X-Men: Backwaters, and X-Men: Reverse Future.
