Headache is a very common symptom in daily life, and people will basically encounter headache problems in their lives. As the saying goes, "the patient has a headache, the doctor's head hurts more", which shows that headache treatment is still very tricky. Because there are too many causes of headaches, but according to the causes of headaches, the second edition of the International Classification of Headache Disorders formulated by the International Headache Association in 2004 divides headaches into three categories: (1) primary headaches, including migraines, tension headaches, cluster headaches, etc.; (2) secondary headaches, including head and neck trauma, cranial and cervical vascular factors, intracranial non-vascular diseases, infections, drug withdrawal, psychiatric factors and other causes of headaches; (3) cranial neuralgia, central and primary facial pain, Headaches due to other facial structural lesions and other types of headaches.
In the theory of Traditional Chinese medicine, headaches are divided into two categories: external sensation and internal injury, and external headaches are mainly based on wind and evil, mixed with cold, wet, summer, dry, fire, etc., while internal injury headaches are mostly related to the dysfunction of the liver, spleen and kidney organs. External headaches are mostly due to careless living and feeling external evils, while internal injuries and headaches are often related to food injury, fatigue, lack of mood, and unconventional intercourse. As for the location of the headache, it can occur on the forehead, temporal, peak, occipital or full head, and the duration of pain can be long or short, or even long-term pain. Whether it is for external headaches or internal injuries, acupuncture or massage acupuncture points have a good pain relief effect.

The head dimension belongs to the Foot Yang Ming Stomach Meridian, which means that the qi and blood substances in this acupuncture point have the effect of maintaining the normal order of the head. The head is the meeting of the yangs, and it is necessary to rely on the continuous transmission of yang qi and nutrients by each meridian to maintain its normal operation. There are auricular nerve branches at the head and dimensional acupoints, temporal branches of the facial nerve and superficial temporal movements, venous frontal branches, and patients with migraine can often find tortuous and swollen blood vessels in the acupuncture points when the headache occurs. Feng Feng is the acupuncture point of the Hand Shaoyang Sanjiao Sutra, which means that the Sanjiao Sutra qi is transformed into the yang qi of the heavens here. The material of this cave is the hot expansion wind from the heavenly cavity, after reaching the main cave, the hot expansion wind momentum is weak and slow and becomes the Wei Wai Yang Qi of the Heavenly Department, and the Wei Wai Yang Qi is transmitted from the Point to the various parts of the head in the form of a wind, so it is called fengfeng. There are retroauricular arteries and veins, external superficial veins of the neck, large auricular nerves, and deep penetration of the facial nerve stem from the stem and mastoids, so in addition to treating headaches, it is also effective for symptoms such as facial paralysis, tinnitus, and deafness.
