At the first meeting between the two sides, Diego Costa demanded an annual salary of 4 million euros and a signing fee of 2 million euros from Besiktas, while Besiktas offered only an annual salary of 2.5 million euros and a signing fee of 1 million euros, and the two sides could not agree after the first meeting.
According to reports, the management of Besiktas club decided to issue a final offer for Costa's team with an annual salary of 3 million euros + 1.5 million euros for signing fees, and if the 32-year-old Costa still does not accept this offer, then the top giants will choose to abandon the introduction of Costa and choose other alternatives, including Sevilla's Dutch striker Luke De Jong and Austria's Arnautovic.
