The nomination period for the re-election of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong is about to begin

The nomination period for the 2021 HKSAR Legislative Council Re-election will begin on 30 October, and the re-election will be held on 19 December. The Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions announced that it would send 9 people to participate in the election.

The Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions will announce the list of candidates after the council meeting on the evening of the 29th, 3 people will participate in the regional direct election, President Wu Qiubei will be elected in the Hong Kong Island East Constituency, Tang Ka Biao will run for the Kowloon East Constituency, and Chan Yingxin will run for the New Territories Southwest Constituency.

In terms of functional groups, Kwok Wai Keung and Leung Tze Ying will run for the labour sector, while in terms of the EC sector, Hwang Kwok, Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions, as well as Mak Mei Juan, Luk Song Hung and Choi Wing Keung will be elected. (Reporter Zhu Dan, JinDong)
