According to the administrative penalties issued by the People's Government of Daxing District of Beijing Municipality, the Bureau of Ecology and Environment of Daxing District of Beijing Municipality inspected IKEA xihongmen in Beijing on May 12, 2021, and found that the grease purifier in the kitchen operation room did not fully adsorb the fumes during the normal production of steak, causing the fumes to leak out, there was abnormal use, and some of the fume exhaust gases produced were not purified, causing pollution to the surrounding atmospheric environment. The matter violated the Beijing Municipal Regulations on the Prevention and Control of Air Pollution, so it was fined 0.71 million yuan, and the penalty unit was the Beijing Daxing District Ecological and Environmental Bureau.
