On February 25 this year, Tripadvisor released the 2021 global top 25 beaches list, which is based on tourist votes. Queensland's Whitehaven (Whitehaven Beach in the Great Barrier Reef in the Whitsunday Islands) won the first place, topped the top 25 beaches in the world in 2021, and Turquoise Bay (Turquoise) in Western Australia ranked 6th.
I. Whitehaven Beach
Known as "Australia's most beautiful sand" and "the greenest and cleanest beach in the world", Whitehaven Beach is located at the southeastern tip of Whitsunday Island. The entire beach stretches for 7 kilometers, all white, and is composed of sandy white, delicate and soft pure silica sand.
The white sandy beaches and the shores of the mangroves and blue waters form a stunning landscape. Whitehaven Beach is also the most photographed beach in Australia, having been voted "Queensland's Most Beautiful Beach" and "Queensland's Friendliest Beach" multiple times.
Travelers can opt for a Whitehaven cruise and board the Hill Inlet Lookout at the northern end of the beach when the tide is low, where the blue sea and white sand intertwine different images every day. Of course, consider taking a seaplane and helicopter ride to see Hill Bay and even the entire Whitehaven Beach from above.
Turquoise Beach
Located near Australia's famous Ningalo Coral Reef, Turquoise Bay is surrounded by magnificent corals and colourful tropical fish. As its name suggests, Turquoise Bay has turquoise like turquoise.
This is a beautiful beach with golden sand, family friendly and easy snorkeling. Turquoise Bay has been described as a "diver's paradise".
Wineglass Bay
Wineglass Bay is one of the most popular holiday destinations on Tasmania island for tourists and locals. Wineglass Bay presents the perfect crescent shape through the dazzling white sand beach, and the sapphire crystal clear waters create a romantic atmosphere. On the island there are not only snorkeling, kayaking, but also a range of activities such as wildlife hunting and hiking.
Four
Bondi Beach
Located on the eastern suburban coast about 10 kilometres from sydney city centre, Bondi Beach is a 1.5 kilometre stretch of curved beach with a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, surf shops and souvenir shops along the road.
Facing the Pacific Ocean, Bondi Beach is one of the two major surf resorts in New South Wales with soft golden sands, blue waters and high winds and waves, and is also a traditional Australian surfing lifesaving training base.
Manly Beach
Manly Beach, located in the north of Sydney, is about 1 mile long and consists of 18 small harbours and large sandy beaches, the sand on the beach is yellow as gold, the sea is blue as a jewel, and the mountains on the seaside are full of colorful flowers, forming an ink painting.
Some people say that the spring, summer, autumn and winter of Manly Beach have their own advantages, which is endlessly evocative. People can enjoy a variety of activities on the beach, some sitting on the shore and watching the scenery, some sunbathing, some chatting, some surfing in the sea or climbing the mountains near the beach.
