Phil Jackson: The Bulls had a rule that players who shot three points indiscriminately would be fined

Tiger Punch April 21, former NBA player Michael Jordan's documentary "The Last Dance" is airing. At the same time, former Bulls coach Phil Jackson was also invited to host the "Detail" show.

On the show, Jackson analyzed the 1998 Finals bulls' 96-54 win over jazz.

With less than 30 seconds left in the fourth quarter, the Bulls led by 40 points but still executed tactics.

In response, Jackson said: "As you can see, the game is nearing the end, but we are still sticking to the tactics. One of our rules was that if the players made a random three-point shot, they would be fined. Offense that doesn't run right or is abandoned, we reprimand. Basically, it's not about fines, it's about the players wanting the players to respect the game. That's the theory behind the tactics we want. So, it's an act of throwing the ball out before the whistle goes up, finishing the game, and not trying to humiliate the opponent. ”
