With a week to go public, Age of Empires 4 is finally on the market. Developed by Recycl entertainment and World's Edge, it will be released on October 28, 2021, landing on Steam and Windows Stores, and debuting on XGP.

Age of Empires 4 is the canonical sequel to the Age of Empires series, using both common and innovative approaches. Players will be placed at the center of epic historical battles that have shaped the modern world, expanding the empire in a vast landscape of stunning 4K visual fidelity.
Age of Empires 4 will launch eight civilizations and four historical battles: Britain (Battle of Norman), China, Delhi Sultanate, Mongolia (Battle of the Mongol Empire), France (Battle of the Hundred Years' War), Abbasid Empire, Holy Roman Empire, and Russia (Battle of the Rise of Moscow).
