What does the future city look like in the eyes of children?

Shanghai "City Expo", as one of the annual "World Cities Day" theme exhibition activities, this year once again brilliantly exhibited children's paintings full of childlike, childlike and innocent children's paintings, children's free creation of future undersea cities, space cities in the vast universe, modern metropolises full of high-tech transportation methods and green villages with birds and flowers, young and vivid brushstrokes and colorful presentations, depicting the children's imagination of the future city.

Recently, the "Future City in the Eyes of Children" - "Carbon Neutral Tomorrow" Painting Award Ceremony organized by Shanghai Green Building Association was held at the "City Expo". Focusing on "eco-city", "low-carbon building" and "green life", this year's event set up three groups: kindergarten group, primary school group and middle school group, and collected more than 1,600 paintings.

After expert review, a total of 244 works were shortlisted, of which 65 won awards, all of which were exhibited at the exhibition. The children fully expressed the ideal world of a better life with their own brushes and imagination, some built a unique scientist garden, some lived on a better planet in space, some lived in a green and natural fairy tale world, expressed their understanding of "carbon neutrality" with paintings, and created a beautiful tomorrow with artistic imagination.

The experts affirmed the children's works and said that the children used their brushes and imaginations to fully express the ideal world of a better life, some built a unique scientist garden, some lived on a more beautiful planet in space, and some lived in a green and natural fairy tale world. Using painting to express his understanding of "carbon neutrality", the imagination of art creates a better tomorrow. From the performances in these works, I feel the children's concern for the living environment and their beautiful expectations.
