Lopez collaborated with Wilson on comedy

The 1905 romantic comedy "Marry Me," a collaboration between Jennifer Lopez and famed comedian Owen Wilson, was postponed, moving from the originally planned Valentine's Day schedule on February 12, 2021 to May 14, 2021. Obviously, the three-month delay is not due to the epidemic, but the producers have to vacate the big-screen animation "Pony King".

It is reported that the film will be adapted from the picture book novel of the same name. The story tells of a pop superstar who marries her rock star fiancé in Madison Square Garden when she discovers that her fiancé is having an affair with her assistant. So she randomly chose a math teacher on the stage and married him. After the two get married, whether they can get along happily, or whether the marriage will soon end quickly, depends on whether the fate between the two is close. Although the story may seem a bit repetitive, the most appealing key to this comedy is whether there is tacit cooperation between the two actors. It should be said that as veterans of the film industry, Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson both have this ability to turn decay into magic. Moreover, it is not difficult to see from this combination of stories that this will be a story of strong women and weak men in the plot. Therefore, Lopez, who plays the role of the true color, may not have much room to play, while Wilson has more room.

Behind the scenes, the film was directed by Kate Kylo ("About You") and written by John Rogers, Tammy Segger, and Hubble Hill. Colombian singer Maluma will also join the cast.
