According to Lonely Planet, Dublin is the seventh most visitable city in the world in 2022.
On Wednesday, the travel site announced the 10 most worth visiting countries, cities and regions for next year.
To cater to "more responsible travel," this year's rankings are heavily influenced by the "best sustainable travel experience" destinations, the report shows.
Ireland's capital, Berlin, was awarded the title of "Europe's Most Pragmatic and Friendly City" for planning to open pedestrian zones in some areas.
In the 2022 Best Cities awards, Auckland, New Zealand, topped the list. Auckland was praised for its "thriving cultural landscape and local creativity".
Tourism Ireland chief executive Neil Gibbons and Tourism Minister Catherine Martin welcomed the news on Twitter.
While immersing themselves in the city, it encourages visitors to take a walking tour and follow in the footsteps of Leopold Bloom, the protagonist of James Joyce's iconic 1922 novel Ulysses, which will mark its 100th anniversary next year.
In addition, Dublin's magnificent Georgian Square, centuries-old bars and amiable residents are all mentioned.
