"My turn, draw cards!"
I believe that many friends who are ready to enter the 30-year-old mark like the author have come to play a few games of "game king" after class and classmates in the student era; although in retrospect, the game of that year often has direct throwing trap cards from the hand, ritual/homologous monsters directly summoned, card decks filled with reflectors and torrent burial, and various ZCG fake cards with extremely raw effects have turned the battle situation upside down, and this fantasy journey of fighting wits and courage has become a valuable memory for many players.

The LEGO IDEAS creative project submitted by @Swamp Leaper today is also closely related to this classic card game, but it is not related to monsters or characters, but - duel disk~
(Broken Thoughts: I think the D wheel is more suitable for making blocks... )
Judging from its overall layout, the author is obviously based on the new Master Rules (commonly known as "Master 4") introduced by Konami in 2017 and subsequent revisions to make this duel disk, with two new additional monster areas in addition to the 5 main monster areas and 5 magic/trap card areas to place monsters in the extra deck, the main deck, the extra deck, the graveyard, and the card slots except for the game are also readily available, and the "keeping pace with the times" has a high degree of practicality, and you can really use it to play cards (laughs).
However, considering that in the three works ARC-V, VRAINS and SEVENS in the new master rules in the same period and later period, the duel disk is either a holographic projection, or has been made into a sci-fi product that cannot be restored in reality, the shape of this dueling disk is mainly based on the classic first-generation folding dueling disk as a reference; however, for some reason, the turning point of the main body of the duel disk is set in the third card slot from the left instead of the second one common to each generation of dueling disks in the film, and the appearance recognition has been greatly affected.
The Extra Monster Zone, like the Field Magic Zone, uses diagonal/vertical card slots to secure additional cards, so there is no card tray backsheet.
The armband underneath the main deck, given the strength of the LEGO brick and its overall weight visible to the naked eye, shouldn't have anyone actually brought it to their hands.
Unfortunately, as of August 21, the deadline for this dueling disk on the OFFICIAL IDEAS website has only 448 likes, and may only reach the achievement of a thousand likes in the remaining less than 300 days of praise; in view of the lack of data such as the number of parts and volume, the degree of pure appearance reduction is also debatable, even if Lego really intends to vote with Konami, it is estimated that it will not choose such a complex level of design to challenge the official designer's knife method...
But from the player's point of view, isn't this dueling disk not handsome enough?
"Duel, start"!
