The weekend hiking activities arrived as promised, the rain was drizzling and a little cold when going out, but it did not stop everyone from walking into the footsteps of nature, and 37 partners arrived at the meeting place on time: Xiaoximen Suburban Shuttle Depot, we took the shuttle bus to Anning at 9 o'clock and went to the starting point of the hike.
It was shangri-la's most beautiful hiking season of the year, the group leader Ling Yi Tianxiang led a group of friends to hike the rain crash, Kunming activities led by Lang Xingtianxia and Yan Zifei, we walked the western part of Kunming City, from Tranquility to Xishan.
Along the line, there are the stone carved reclining Buddha of Fahua Temple left over from the Nanzhao Period, the newly built Taiping Town of the New City, the Biji Pass, the first pass of the "Nine Passes and Eighteen Shops" of the Western Yunnan Road, and the remains of the bunker left during the War of Resistance...
In addition to enjoying the natural scenery, we also learned about many cultural and historical sites, which is very good.
At 9:00 a.m., we took the suburban shuttle bus from Xiaoximen and got off at Anning 28 km half an hour later, which was the starting point of our hike. "28 kilometers" is a place name for Anning, and many friends mistakenly believe that it is the number of kilometers on this trip, and we have also had such a misunderstanding.
Starting from 28 kilometers, we passed through Xiaotaohua Village, Shangfahua Temple, Guan Reclining Buddha Grottoes and crossed in the mountains, accompanied by the Brine Transmission Pipeline of Anning Salt Mine, arrived at Taiping Town, walked niubi village, crossed the reservoir, passed through Bijiguan Village, walked through Bijiguan Village, walked to xishan Park subway station not far from the "Bijiguan" archway at about 17:00, ended the activity, took the subway back, and the mobile phone software recorded the walking distance of 19 kilometers.

Fahua Temple, formerly known as the Sleeping Buddha Temple, is famous for its grotto art and has a long history. On the rock wall, the grottoes left by the ancients are dotted, the caves are carved with many buddhas, with different forms and lifelike, of which a reclining Buddha statue is the most famous, it is said that it is a work of the Song Dynasty Dali Nanzhaoguo period, is the only remaining reclining Buddha in Kunming, has been listed as a provincial key protection cultural relics unit in Yunnan Province.
Unlike what we have seen in the past few years, the houses of Fahua Temple have been repaired, the outer walls of a row of bungalows used as guest halls have been painted, the houses and courtyards are clean and tidy, and they appear more quiet and quiet after the rain. In addition to us, there was also a group of people who came to visit by car, which added a bit of liveliness and vitality to the place.
The road up the hill to view the grottoes has obviously been cleared, and the path that used to be deeper than the grass reveals a clear path, very refreshing. In the courtyard, I met a monk who greeted us with a smile and a friendly attitude.

Follow the moss-covered stone path, walk to the foot of the mountain, and climb a stone staircase with an iron fence, and we will reach the stone statue of the reclining Buddha.
The reclining Buddha is carved from a mountain, the mountain is redstone sandstone, the visual hardness is not very large, but it has also withstood millions of years of wind and rain.
The reclining Buddha statue was surrounded by an iron railing to reduce the probability of human destruction, but the Buddha statue still left a lot of traces of graffiti and inscription, and the face of the Buddha statue was also damaged and disappeared.
There is also a platform above the Reclining Buddha Temple, there is a YuWang Stele (also known as the Yu Monument, the MengShan Monument), according to the thirteenth year of Ming Jiajing (1534 AD), the county man Zhang Su brought the Yuelu Academy Yu Stele inscription back to Anning after rubbing, asked Yang Shen to interpret it, carved on the rock wall, here there is the Yu Wang Monument; because the road is slippery, many people have not looked.
Further up, there is a sunburn stone, and only the brave highland eagle goes to explore...
The mountain roads connecting the various areas of the grotto have been cleared and cleared, and we can easily visit the carvings in the various grottoes.
Here the forest is verdant, the cave springs are quiet, because the humid air is infiltrated all year round, the roads are covered with moss, and it looks particularly wet and slippery after the rain, so you have to be very careful when walking in between.
There is a flat field under the platform of the grotto, a few bright red dazzling flowers are very eye-catching, until we get closer, we can see that it is a ground golden lotus, which is a very common plant in Yunnan, its leaves are very similar to the banana leaves, and the flowers are mostly bright yellow.
Many people saw this red golden lotus at Fahua Temple for the first time, and everyone couldn't help but be very excited and surprised, so they quickly took pictures of its beautiful face and treasured it in their memories.
The flowers and plants in the mountains are pleasant to the eye, and the Niubi Village reservoir under construction has taken shape.
Anning Taiping New City is a rapidly developing area in recent years, where many new residential areas, hotel shops, wide roads, green avant-garde, such as a park-like environment is very beautiful, the city is more and more beautiful.
In the mountains around Tranquility, the vegetation is lush and the grass is dense, after the washing of the rain in the past few days, the mountain air is transparent, the leaves are refreshing, although it is late autumn, green is still the main color here, the grass is pointed, green leaves, full of crystal clear small water droplets, sparkling, shiny, very good-looking.
After passing through Taiping New Town, we passed through Niubi Village, a village at the foot of Xishan Mountain, which belongs to the Xishan District of Kunming City. After passing the Niubi Village, it is not too far from the finish line Ofi Pass.
The village has changed dramatically compared to a few years ago, especially with the improvement of road conditions, and we walked north along a two-lane cement road to a reservoir site under construction.
Only a few workers were laying stones, and the high dam body had been formed; the workers at the scene said that the construction of the reservoir had been carried out for more than 2 years and was expected to be completed around the Spring Festival next year.
Because of this line, we have passed through here several times, it was once a popular fishing place, farm place, and now expanded into a reservoir, after the completion of the construction of the reservoir, it may be a good opportunity for the development of the surrounding area.
Biji Pass is the first of the "Nine Passes and Eighteen Shops", there are many historical sites here, we went to find a bunker from the Anti-Japanese War period.
Bijiguan is a familiar name for Kunming people, and the Bijiguan Archway in Xishan Park, the Bijiguan Tunnel on the Anning Expressway, and the Bijiguan Village not far from Xishan Park are all named after "Bijiguan".
After participating in the "West Yunnan Avenue" hiking activity, we learned that Biji Pass is the first level of "Nine Passes and Eighteen Shops". There are a lot of traces of history there.
It is said that during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, a bunker was left in Bijiguan, and when the group organized this line a few years ago, it searched three times before finally finding the remains of the bunker submerged in the farmland not far from the mouth of the village.
When the trip came here, it was only 16:00 in the afternoon, the leader asked for everyone's opinion on whether to take a detour to see the bunker, everyone agreed to go forward, visually inspecting the area where the site is located is undergoing project construction, and in a few days, I don't know if it will still exist.
After a tossing and turning, we finally came to the bunker, which had been flooded with weeds more than 1 person tall, and if it were not for the familiarity of the leaders, the average person would not be able to see that there had ever been a bunker; the round shape, the thick cement material, more like the appearance of an ordinary reservoir.
When we approached it, the entrance to the bunker and the firing hole of the gun were clearly visible, and the eerie feeling made people feel a little chilly. A large project is being built in the distance, and I heard that it is a local products trading market. The ruins of the bunker are not too far from the site, and perhaps in the near future, it will disappear into the long river of history.
I met an old man in the village, listened to our interest in Bijiguan, and introduced it very warmly: the former pass and the city tower of Bijiguan were destroyed in the 50s of the last century, and in the direction of his finger, we imagined the location of Bijiguan; the two wells in the village were the drinking water sources for the villagers, and now with tap water, they have long completed their mission...
The old man is 84 years old, but he is tough and mentally strong, talking about the stone road in the village in the past, he figuratively stroked with his hand: the footprints of the horse are so deep...
Not far from the Xishan Park subway station, there is a "Bijiguan" archway, and after walking through it, I learned that there are many, many stories behind it.
On the weekend hiking activities, we walked from Tranquility to Xishan, Guanhua Temple Reclining Buddha, Xunbiji Guan Bunker, integrated into nature, feel history, strengthen physical fitness, increase insight, and get more in one fell swoop.
