Wind Shadow Synopsis
In December 1936, the Xi'an Incident broke out, and the relationship between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party was delicate. As the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression entered a stalemate, the Japanese military top brass secretly formulated a cherry blossom action plan and sent a butterfly detachment of senior female spies of the Japanese army, led by Exit, Sakura, Otsuki, and others, to assassinate Dai Chongyu, commander of the 20th Division. The Chinese Communist Party sent underground workers Yue Zhongmin and Ke Ping to secretly protect General Dai under the pretext of publicly investigating Dai Chongyu. The Kuomintang also sent Military Command Commissioner Yue Zhongmin (actually an underground CCP worker) to publicly investigate Commander Dai.
