Buckingham Palace said on the 29th that doctors recommended that Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom rest for at least two weeks, during which she will not make any official visits.

According to the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) on the 29th, Buckingham Palace said that the 95-year-old queen has been advised by doctors to rest for at least two weeks and avoid official visits. During this time, the Queen of England only took on a few light responsibilities, including video connections, among others. She will cancel her participation in the World War I commemoration at the Royal Albert Hall on Nov. 13. But Buckingham Palace said the Queen had a "strong will" to attend the Memorial Day, which will take place on 14 November.

On 20 October, after cancelling her visit to Northern Ireland, the Queen stayed overnight in hospital and underwent an initial medical examination. She has since canceled plans to attend the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow at the advice of her doctor.

On the 28th local time, the Queen of England awarded the Queen's Poetry Medal to the British poet David Constantine through the Internet. On the 29th, she also recorded a video of her speech for the climate summit.
