In the family of Dashan, Dayun Mountain is not the highest and the most beautiful; on the map of China, Dayun Mountain is only a drop of green. However, for thousands of years, Dayun Mountain has become one of the seventy-two peaks of Nanyue with its magnificent majesty.
Dayun Mountain, located at the junction of Hengyang, Qiyang and Shaoyang "Three Yangs", is 1020 meters above sea level, which is the highest peak in Shaodong. The peaks on the mountain are outstanding, the shapes are different, the terrain is rugged and rocky; the mountainside spring waterfall is like jade; the mountain wild flowers and grasses are pleasing to the eye; the green bamboo at the foot of the mountain is beautiful. Nature's miraculous work has decorated Dayun Mountain with extra delicacy.
Walking in the fairytale quiet, magical Dayun Mountain, the heart is enchanted. Walk through layers of terraces, walk along the stream, through bamboo forests, climb stone ladders, climb thousands of steps, step on a flat bluestone, look up, the stone slope is covered with green moss, shaped like an orangutan, protruding into the eye; there is a small waterfall under the waterfall, the second high is Xu, there is a small pond under the waterfall, and the pool water is clear to the bottom. Crossing the creek, walking dozens of steps, the mountain has a small mouth, a few wild lychee trees, like guards guarding, it will reach the first line of heaven. From the mouth, the stone wall is crawling with green vines, and the sun is shaded. Within a line of days, the width and narrowness are different, the width is more than 1 meter, the narrow place only allows one person to crawl sideways, several feet high, more than 100 meters long, the spring water sprays out from the source stone crack, and the clear flow on the stone is like Goku's water curtain cave. Climb out of the slimming mouth, look up, on the ridge, stone turtles out of the sea, turtles and rabbits race, vivid.
On the opposite side of the first line of heaven, at the foot of the stone slope, there are several cat ear holes, and the cave can accommodate more than twenty people. Lined up, climbing up the stone ladder, on the other side of the hill, there are stone walls two feet high and one foot wide, which look like stone walls from a distance. Climb on a small antenna, a thousand years of guteng, like a southern snake wrapped around the miscellaneous trees, zhang full of stone walls, primitive wild goji trees, cherry blossom trees, nan wood, ancient pines, after a hundred years of wind and frost rain and snow, bent over to welcome guests. Passing through the small bamboo forest, you can see that behind the Hall of the Six Immortals, many strangely shaped large stones stand in the middle of the mountain. One of the large rocks, bare and towering on the mountainside, has a body and a neck, and wears an official hat. According to local legend, this is the embodiment of Wang Fuzhi's hermitage in Dayun Mountain, writing books and sayings.
Climb the Duck Po Stone, touch its skin, kiss and take photos. Unfortunately, there is also a stone duck that has been artificially "flown" down the foot of the mountain, and its "whoosh, whoosh, whoosh" can no longer be heard. Standing on a steady footing, looking down at the mountainside, artificial hundred gardens, spring begonias, cherry blossoms, magnolias; summer appreciation of peonies, jasmine; autumn appreciation of osmanthus flowers, chrysanthemums; winter appreciation of plum blossoms, camellias; and a variety of unknown grass flowers, like stars, dotted in the green ocean.
The pond in front of the Hall of the Six Immortals is beautiful and beautiful. According to legend, the Hall of the Six Immortals was built and named after six immortals such as Cao Guo's uncle, Tie Quan Li, and Lü Dongbin who played chess, and still leaves a chessboard stone on the right side of the main hall. The spring water behind the temple, which is said to cure all diseases, is famous far and wide, and people who come to burn incense and worship the Buddha often bring pots of water. There is a large ping on the left side of the Six Immortals Hall, where it is said that Liu Dapeng of Jinshi Village at the end of the Qing Dynasty practiced light feats here, Liu Dapeng was able to fly over the wall, his strength was incomparable, he assisted He Jinsheng in raising troops against the ocean, Qing Xun sealed Wude Knight, registered wulin, rewarded Wupin Lan Linglang, supplemented The General of Jiangxi, gave the army lieutenant general, and sealed Shaoyang Renjie.
Walking along the shaded path to the top of the mountain, the mythical story of Journey to the West jumps out: the birth of the stone monkey, the Erlang God Axe, the Dinghai God Needle, the Lotus Cave, the Tianchi, the Tin Emperor Hall, the Turtle Cave, the Lions Club and the South Heavenly Gate. A stone, all have a beautiful legend, let you listen to it, after the aftertaste is endless. The summit of the mountain, known as Jiguan Peak, is a resort to watch the sunrise and look at the landscape of different areas of Heng, Shao and Qi. Here, you can pull a piece of white cloud to wipe the sweat, and enjoy the spectacle of the climate where the sun is shining overhead, but the body feels very cold. Whenever the weather changes, you can see the clouds and mist, the mountains are like fish flying shallow bottom, fluttering; in the late winter, everywhere is white, the trees and grass are hung with long popsicles, which is the best place to enjoy the rime and snow wonders; you can see the ruins of the tree trunks and make airplane navigation signs in the early liberation period; you can also touch the stone of the Tuancangzhai ruins built on the side of Jiguan Peak during the Ming Dynasty; you can also taste fresh rock wild mountain tea leaves, which are said to have been specially paid tribute to the emperor during the Ming Dynasty. Look at its shape, look at its color, and ordinary tea leaves are no different. Put into the teacup, brew with boiling water, it is different, the lid of the cup is opened, look at its shape, there will be more than 2 meters high like smoke like a column of air, and then form a mushroom-shaped and lift-off; taste its taste, elegant and long, sweet and smooth; smell its breath, fragrant and pleasant; drink, full of charm, and endless aftertaste. In ancient times, legend has it that Dayun Mountain had three treasures: "tea, licorice, and chaihu", which were tributes from the emperor.
From Jiguan Peak down the mountain, you can enjoy the long and wide grassland scenery. To the east of the mountain is the centennial pine fir, and further on, an ancient tea horse road extends on the shoulders of Xiao Ao to both sides of the mountain. The first-class stone slab with a width of more than 1 meter tells the prosperity of the past and the ups and downs experienced. According to local legend, this road was donated by a rich man surnamed Liu in Hongjing Village during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. The locals jokingly called him "Liu Jiehou", because of the family's wealth, he continued to have five rooms, but still had no heirs. His mother was very anxious, and the old monk read the words: "The family is rich and childless, and the people who do more good deeds are rich and prosperous; originally the wives and concubines had the heart to build roads and bridges to add people." "The mother told her son in detail what the old monk had said." Liu Jiehou "Listened, and acted immediately." After spending three years of hard work, he donated this ancient tea horse road for Heng Shao liangyang Jia Shang to pass. In the second year of road construction, the five concubines each had a child; two years later, each had another child. When the locals saw the situation, they jokingly referred to "Liu Jiehou" as "Liu Jianhou". Although it is a legend, it has been passed down to this day and influenced future generations. Now there is Li Chongming, whose father is a retired cadre in Shaoyang City. In the spring of 1996, when the old man was seriously ill, he instructed me to donate my savings to Yunlu School and scatter my ashes to Dayun Mountain. In accordance with his father's will, Li Chongming cremated him after his death, and the funeral was simple, scattering his ashes on the top of Dayun Mountain; donating all the 50,000 yuan of savings he left behind to Yunlu School, and setting up the "Li Chun Scholarship Award Fund". In 2020, Li Chongming also donated nearly 1 million yuan to build scenic roads and mountaintop pavilions.
Climbing up the ridge from the small pass, you can enjoy the natural beauty of the stone forest, and in the spring you can also enjoy the natural growth of the mountain red. If you go down the mountain along the stone road after Liu Jian, less than 20 meters away from Xiao'ao, there is a small well, the well water continues to flow throughout the year, clear to the bottom, warm in winter and cool in summer, the legend is that it was built by the owner of tuancang village in the Ming Dynasty. Turn another bend and you will see the Heavenly River. The Tianhe River is about 1 meter 5 wide, more than 300 meters long, about 2 meters high, and the highest point of the river bank is more than 5 meters. The Tianhe River is made of natural stones on three sides, and the two sides are overgrown with miscellaneous trees, hiding the sky and the sun. The two walls of the river are covered with green grass, and every rainy day, the flood floods down, like white practice, flying down. On the slope of the Tianhe River, there is a natural stone lion, but unfortunately the jaw of the stone lion was knocked off by the locals. Legend has it that during the Ming Dynasty, farmers in the area of Tanguo Town raised chickens and did not lay eggs all year round, and they never found a reason. Later, a woodcutter passed by the stone lion and found that the lion's head was full of egg shells, and went home to tell the neighbors about this discovery. The neighbors suspected that the chickens did not lay eggs, but could it be that the stone lion was a monster and ate all their eggs. Several neighbors came together, carrying hammers and knocking off the jaws of the stone lion. Something strange happened, the chicken laid eggs. A few hundred steps further down, there is the Immortal Bridge. The Xian Ren Bridge is composed of three all-stone stones, and the bridge hole is 2 meters square. There is also a cactus bed inside the bridge, and there is a cactus drum in front of the bridge. There is also a pair of sister stones and stone chairs on the side of the Immortal Bridge. The woods on the slopes of the Xian Ren Bridge are overgrown with wild kiwifruit, estimated to be more than 3 acres. When autumn is high, you can try the sweet and sour taste of wild kiwifruit. Standing on the Immortal Bridge, the cool breeze blows clothes, and the heart is relaxed. In spring, looking up at the hundred acres of mountains and red, overlooking the bamboo sea, listening to the sound of babbling water, as if in a fairyland, intoxicated and forget the way home.
