It is only to the pity of the people of the world that such a benevolent emperor has no children in his life, and no one has inherited the great Jiangshan, so he has no choice but to inherit the sons of the clan as sons and inherit the Jiangshan of the Great Song Dynasty.
And Song Yingzong Zhao Shu encountered this kind of opportunity, the pie in the sky also hit him, that is, he inherited Song Renzong as a son, inherited the throne of the Great Song Dynasty Emperor, and smashed several times in a row, it can be seen that the heavens are pampering him to the extreme, and the throne is "nothing but him"!
Born out of phase
Emperor Yingzong of Song was the great-grandson of Emperor Taizong of Song, zhao Guangyi, the grandson of Emperor Zhenzong of Song's younger brother Zhao Heng, the grandson of Zhao Yuanfen the Prince of Shang, and the thirteenth son of Zhao Yunrang, the cousin of Emperor Renzong of Song, and was actually the nephew of Emperor Renzong of Song. Song Yingzong's mother was junren of Xianyou County. At first, Song Yingzong's father, Zhao Yun, dreamed at night that two dragons were falling with the sun, and he continued with clothes. The next day, Yingzong's mother found out that she was pregnant.
By the third day of the first month of the first year of the Ming Dynasty (1032), Zhao Shu of Song Yingzong was born in xuanpingfang mansion, and when he was born, the red light shone all over the room, and some people saw the yellow dragon swimming in the red light, full of strange incense. The golden light "instantaneously" penetrated the house and "shone on the lintel", which made the family feel very surprised, and they did not know whether it was a blessing or a curse.
As everyone knows, this is the fu phase, it is the emperor's phase, marking the beginning of the career of Emperor Zhao Shu of Song Yingzong.

Song Renzong Zhao Zhen had no sons in his early years, and all three sons born died prematurely, which may have been twice the pain of Song Renzong, so under the pressure of the Qunchen, in the second year of Jingyou (1035), the young Zhao Shu was admitted to the imperial palace, and the name zhao Zongshi was given to Empress Cao to raise. First used as a reserve cadre.
Song Yingzong Zhao Shu was extremely filial by nature, and every day he regularly served tea to Song Renzong and Empress Cao to ask for peace, even if he was sick, he never fell. Therefore, it won the favor of Song Renzong and Empress Cao. And because he likes to read, does not do things to play, and wears frugal and simple like a Confucian, which makes Song Renzong even more pleased. Therefore, Song Renzong was determined to pass the throne to him. In the third year of Jingyou (1036), Zhao Zongshi was made the deputy commander of the Left Guard, and later promoted to the rank of Grand General of the Right Yu Lin Army and the Assassin of Yizhou.
When Song Yingzong Zhao Shu felt a burst of beauty in his heart, when he felt that he was the future monarch of the Great Song Dynasty, Song Renzong's own son Zhao Xin, the King of Yu, was born, but Song Renzong was happy and broken, amnesty the world, and rewarded the group of ministers, thinking that his Jiangshan had a person to entrust, and he was no longer forced by the group to inherit the jiangshan of the Great Song, so he sent Song Yingzong Zhao Shu back to his father zhao Yunrang's side and returned it in original condition!
Zhao Shu, who was originally happy, thought that he was not far from the day of ascending the throne as emperor, and as a result, he was a superfluous and returned unchanged. The heart is lost like a "frosted eggplant". Don't mention how lost. But it can't change, and can only serve your parents at home.
In the first month of the third year of the Qing calendar (1043), Song Renzong's own son Zhao Xin, the Prince of Yu, died prematurely, which made Song Renzong grief-stricken, and he lost 4 sons at once, which caused Song Renzong, who was more than half a hundred years old, very headache, and thought that this son could grow up peacefully and peacefully, and he died halfway to inherit his throne, but unfortunately he died halfway, and the heir to the throne was again disappointed, and Song Renzong had no choice but to take Song Yingzong Zhao Shu into the palace and make him a right guard general and a yuezhou regimental envoy, but he was not crowned as a prince.
Song Yingzong Zhao Shu felt that the heavens still had mercy on him, and once again gave himself the opportunity to go to the palace with confidence, conscientiously perform his duties, do a good job in the things that Emperor Renzong explained, and be a filial and responsible child.
In the fourth year of the celebration calendar, the harem of Song Renzong sent out good news, a concubine was pregnant, Song Renzong was very happy, and what kind of state of mind was it to have a son in old age. It seemed that there was another successor, so Emperor Renzong of Song sent Emperor Yingzong of Song out of the palace. In this way, Song Yingzong Zhao Shu once again packed the original return and returned to his parents, frustrated and wanted to ask God why he gave me hope and disappointed me.
I have to say that Song Renzong is really fateless, is fate, the child born has not had time to take a name, it died again, when he learned the news, Song Renzong cried in the main hall, how the courtiers could not be persuaded, back to the palace, saw Empress Cao was another burst of crying, think about experiencing the joy of getting a son in old age, and then experience the grief of losing a son in old age, how can an old man endure to live.
But the facts are already facts, can not be changed, but also in accordance with the ancestral rituals to inherit the Great Song Dynasty, so Song Yingzong Zhao Shu was once again taken into the palace, and at this time Song Yingzong did not have the joy of the past, just silently listened to the arrangement, because he knew that once Emperor Renzong had a child, he would be sent back unchanged, so this time he was very calm.
In the face of Song Yingzong Zhao Shu, who had entered the palace, he had not been crowned prince, and the ministers did not agree, so they proposed to Emperor Renzong the matter of appointing a crown prince with han qi, Long Tuge Zhishi bao zheng, and others, but Song Renzong said that there was another pregnancy in the harem, and this matter would be discussed later. It didn't take long for the harem to give birth, but a girl. Song Renzong really collapsed, and Song Renzong, who was about to be a son, estimated that he could not wait for his own son.
In the seventh year of Jiayou (1062), on the fourth day of the eighth lunar month, Emperor Yingzong of Song was made crown prince and renamed Zhao Shu. After three round-trip successions, Emperor Yingzong of Song was finally made crown prince.

In the eighth year of Jiayou (1063), in the third month of the lunar calendar, Song Renzong, a generation of Ming Jun and a generation of Renjun, died of illness. In April, Empress Cao issued a testament from Emperor Renzong of Song, allowing Zhao Shu to succeed to the imperial throne. The civil and military officials entered the court and wept bitterly and mourned. Han Qi read Emperor Renzong's edict. Zhao Shu went to the East Hall to receive the Wen and Wu Officials. He officially ascended the throne and was known as Emperor Yingzong of Song. On the second day of the first month of April, the world was granted amnesty, and the hundred officials were given the first class, and the army was rewarded.
After three changes, Zhao Shu, who finally ascended to the emperor's throne, began his 5-year career as emperor, but the principle of a dynasty of heaven and a courtier could not be changed, so there was a conflict of rights between Song Yingzong and Empress Cao.

I have to say that the physical function of the emperors of the Song Dynasty is really poor to a certain extent, and they are all short-lived masters. At the beginning of the reign of Emperor Yingzong of Song, Empress Cao of Emperor Renzong of Song was put under the supervision of Empress Cao due to illness. Some eunuchs continued to say bad things about Zhao Shu to Empress Cao, and Emperor Yingzong of Song was not Emperor Renzong's son, and there was a confrontation in power, which led to a rift between the two palaces and a rather tense relationship.
Although nominally mother and son, but also the two sides of the power, the two palaces are not good for the country and the society, and it is not a good thing for Song Yingzong and Empress Cao, so the ministers are anxious. First of all, the two prime ministers, Han Qi and Ouyang Xiu, stood up, first persuaded Empress Cao, and then persuaded Song Yingzong, and finally the contradiction between the two palaces was lifted, and the correct instructions of the state could be issued and the country could operate correctly.
In fact, it is understandable that when Song Yingzong became emperor, he definitely hoped that Empress Cao would delegate power, and the so-called generation of Tianzi and the old and new ministers of the Song Renzong era on which Empress Cao relied would certainly have contradictions, and when contradictions occurred, things would happen, and internal strife would affect the normal operation of the country. Empress Cao is not Wu Zetian, nor does she want to be Wu Zetian, so there is always a party that has to give in, and the rights must always be summarized to one person, so Empress Cao's choice is correct.
In the end, Empress Cao chose to retire to the harem to "raise the heavens", so that Song Yingzong Zhao Shu's illness was miraculously cured, and finally embarked on the road of "pro-government", walked to the political stage, and became the star at the top of politics. He thought that he would dedicate his life to the country and "open up the territory" to surpass the prosperity and wealth of the Song Renzong period, but unfortunately, the four words "obscurity" were the most suitable for him.

In the third year of Emperor Yingzong of Song's reign, Zhao Shu fell ill and was very serious, feeling that his time was short, and he wanted to choose a successor to inherit Jiangshan, so at the suggestion of the chancellor Han Qi, he made his eldest son Zhao Yu the crown prince. In the first month of the fourth year of Zhiping, Emperor Yingzong of Song died of illness at the Funing Temple, completing his 36-year-old life, the temple number Yingzong, the Qunchen XianWen Su Wu Xuanxiao Emperor, the eighth burial of Zhao Shu in Yonghou Mausoleum (present-day Gongyi Xiaoyi Fort, Henan).

Song Yingzong Zhao Shu ruled for 5 years, there is no achievement, and no country has great merit, but there is no great transgression to the country, "obscure", "inactive king" is his label, the heavens gave him 3 opportunities to inherit Song Renzong's Jiangshan, but the result is not satisfactory, it chose the future king of the future generations actually "achieved nothing", and I don't know if the heavens will regret it!
