In the men's singles, Momota Kendou defeated Sisa 2-0 and played against Kenta Tokiyama in the semifinals. Xu Guangxi defeated Laksya 2-0, Nishimoto Lost 1-2 to Zhou Tiancheng, and Lee Cheuk-yew lost 0-2 to Changshan Kantai.
Women's singles Akane Yamaguchi defeated Thailand's Lee Mi-mi- 2-1, and An x-ying easily defeated Singapore's Yang Jiamin 2-0. Indanon scored just six points in the first set, and in the last two sets, he lost 6-21, 16-21 to Sasuke Takahashi.
