After receiving the request for help, Chen Shijian, a police officer at the Gezhouba Locks Police Station, immediately rushed to the No. 2 Locks with Xia Tong. After arriving at the scene, the police found that it was dangerous to cross the lock room to the lock surface and it was difficult to land, so together with the lock staff, they directed the remaining ships passing through the lock at the scene to enter the lock room in an orderly manner. At the same time, two wooden planks were found, and a "simple wooden bridge" was quickly built at the proximal end of the ship and the locks.
However, due to the emergency of the injured person and the narrow passage, only one person can pass, while the injured person has an ankle injury and cannot pass on his own. Xia Tong immediately made a decision, picked up the injured crew members steadily, and safely sent them to the gate through the "simple wooden bridge", and quickly transferred to the 120 ambulance personnel waiting at the gate, effectively winning the treatment time for the injured.

It is understood that the injured person is the helmsman Liu Mou on the ship, Liu Mou did not notice the foot when the cable was moored after the ship entered the lock room, and his left ankle was injured by the cable whipping. At present, Liu Mou has been transferred to Gezhouba Central Hospital for treatment and is in a stable condition.
According to the Changhang Public Security Police, the gray fluttering cable is inconspicuous on the surface, but in the mooring operation of the ship, it may become a weapon to hurt people.
