At 12 o'clock on August 31, the Liuheng Fishery Administration Fishery Supervision Station in Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province, received a call for help from citizens saying that a "big fish" about three meters long and weighing about 300 to 400 kilograms had run aground on the Beach of Liuhengtaimen sha. After receiving the call, rescuers rushed to the scene immediately.
At 3 p.m. on the 31st, the reporter followed the rescuers to the scene and found that in the shallow sea near the seashore, a black "big fish" was constantly swinging in the water. According to the visual inspection of the scene, this "big fish" is nearly 3 meters long, black throughout, weighs about 300 or 400 pounds, the head is round, and there are two asymmetrical pores on the back, which spew out gas from time to time.

According to rescuers, this "big fish" is actually a pygmy sperm whale, which belongs to the national second-level protected animal. Due to a minor head injury, rescuers made several attempts to lift it into deep water, but without success.
