It is not difficult for a mobile phone camera to take macro photos. If you master the skill, the thousand-yuan mobile phone can also shoot a film with macro features (magnification > 1:4) without adding an external lens or sharply cropping. In recent years, I have used my mobile phone camera to shoot more macro subjects (ecological insects, small animals, etc.), and I use a thousand-dollar mobile phone. Let's take a look at the macro film of some insects taken with a mobile phone camera.

So, can the macro pictures taken by the mobile phone camera be comparable to the macro pictures taken by the SLR camera? First, let's combine the following sets of mobile phone cameras and the comparison legend of the macro film taken by the SLR + 100 micro lens to see how it goes.
1, in macro shooting, the difference in the texture and delicacy of the subject in the case of shooting scene lighting is roughly similar.
As can be seen from the legend, there is still a difference in the delicacy between the red and green spiders and the scene. The texture of SLR + 100 micro shooting is more delicate.
2, In macro shooting, shoot the difference between the blurring effect of the scene object (foreground background). Obviously, in the bokeh blur effect of the scene, the SLR + 100 micro effect will be better.
Both insects are weevils of similar size. The proportion of the subject in the picture is also similar. However, from the perspective of the blurred area and effect of the foreground and background in the scene, the gap between the two is obvious. This is because the visual bokeh blur effect formed by the digital zoom (essentially the amplification of the form) of the mobile phone camera is two completely different concepts from the physical bokeh blur effect produced by the optical imaging of the 100 micro lens (depth of field). We can make a simple comparison from the following two illustrations to feel the difference between digital zoom and lens to produce bokeh blur.
In the above illustration, notice the yellow and white spots pointed to by the down arrow, and after passing the digital zoom, it is only correspondingly enlarged in form, and no substantial blurred blur is obtained.
In the above illustration, after the zoom lens 70-200mm+65mm close-up circle, the same scene film was shot at the nearest shooting distance at the 70mm and 200mm ends, and you can see that the scene object has undergone substantial blurring and blur.

3, macro shooting, macro shooting under complex lighting (such as backlight), mobile phone camera + digital zoom and SLR + 100 micro gap, the same can be easily compared. It is still a single reflex + 100 micro wins.
Speaking of this, we should understand that, at least in the current situation, the macro photos taken by the mobile phone camera are not comparable to the macro photos taken by the SLR camera, and there is still a big gap. In fact, it is normal that there is a gap between the two. Originally, the mobile phone camera and the SLR camera (lens) were different in the design and production process of consumer groups and product functionality, as well as the positioning of the output requirements of the film taken. As the old saying goes, "There is a specialization in the art industry." If you focus on photography, then use more SLR cameras to shoot, which can ensure the quality of the work and the needs of the output. If you just want to entertain photography, it's okay to use a mobile camera. Mobile cameras in many photographic subjects (including macro photography) can also allow you to enjoy the fun of entertainment photography.
