Directed by Hong Kong director Gao Zhisen and adapted from the original novel of the same name by writer Ma Boyong, the stage play "15 Days of Two Capitals" will be performed for three consecutive days at the Tianqiao Art Center from October 22, followed by the first round of national tour.

By telling the thrilling stories along the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, the play shows the humanistic customs on both sides of the canal, and also outlines a vivid picture depicting the life of the cities along the Grand Canal in the Ming Dynasty.

The stage play "Twelve Capitals and Fifteen Days" breaks through the traditional production method of stage drama and gives full play to creativity. It integrates various artistic elements such as martial arts, dance and opera, and the theme song "Thoughts of the Cloud Tree" produced by Hong Kong's post-90s music talent Wong Chun Chun, which has been rapidly disseminated with catchy ancient style music and has been widely acclaimed. As a well-known film director and screenwriter in Hong Kong, director Gao Zhisen also has more than 20 years of experience in stage drama production and directing. In the process of adapting the stage play, director Gao Zhisen gave full play to the concept and creativity of "film sense", applied multimedia throughout the process, adopted film and television shooting and related techniques, and used three-sided images on the stage to create a sense of immersion in the repertoire, which is also more in line with the aesthetic tastes of contemporary young people.
