In 1472, Wang Yangming was born, and Wang Yangming's grandfather Wang Lun named him "Wang Yun". Wang Yangming can only speak at the age of six, and it seems incredible to look at it now, and it is generally believed that children have autism haha. Then, Wang Lun renamed Wang Yangming "Wang Shouren" again, taking the allusion to the Analects that "if you know it, ren cannot keep it, although you gain it, you will lose it."
Wang Yangming is actually named Shouren, the character Bo'an. Later, Wang Yangming called himself Yang Mingzi, and many scholars at that time honored him as Mr. Yang Ming, so later generations generally called him Wang Yangming.

Second, the first exhibition of literary style
When Wang Yangming was eleven years old, his father Wang Hua was a high school student and became a Hanlin bachelor in Beijing. Therefore, Wang Hua took Wang Yangming to Beijing to study, and his grandfather Wang Lun also accompanied his grandson. When passing through Zhenjiang, Wang Lun's old friend set up a banquet to entertain him at the Myoko Terrace of Jinshan Temple in Zhenjiang, and Wang Lun was very happy and took Wang Yangming to the banquet. At the banquet, the literati collected, so someone proposed to write a poem to help entertain. While everyone was still brewing, eleven-year-old Wang Yangming appeared and wrote a seven-word poem in the front pen.
The golden mountain is as big as a fist,
Break the underwater sky of Vijan.
Drunken leaning on the myoko platform on the upper month,
The jade flute blows through the cave dragon sleep.
Everyone was amazed when they saw it. The poem is not only neatly organized, but crucially imaginative. Everyone praised wang Yangming and said that Wang Yangming was a child prodigy.

Third, aspire to be a saint
Still eleven years old, Wang Huagang sent Wang Yangming to a private school. One day in class, Wang Yangming asked mr. Wang a question, "What is the first class thing?" The gentleman replied, "Only read the book to the ear." At that time, it was normal to study for scientific examinations and to become an official. At present, many college students have graduated, and they also choose to take the civil service examination and enter the national administrative system. Speaking of which, Wang Yangming was not very satisfied with Mr. Wang's answer, and when Mr. Wang Yangming saw that Wang Yangming was so dismissive, he asked him, so what do you say is the first thing in life? Wang Yangming said: "I am afraid that Dengdi is not a first-class thing, or reading and learning the sages!" Sir is completely stunned, this student is crazy enough, ambitious enough, as soon as he comes up, he wants to be a saint haha.
Later, Wang Yangming really became a saint, which was very related to his ambition when he was a child, although the road to becoming a saint was very tortuous, nine deaths in a lifetime, but that was the last word. At least Wang Yangming's ambition when he was young was very unusual.
