On Wednesday night, Sassuolo dramatically ended Juventus' nine-game unbeaten run, scoring a goal in the fifth minute of stoppage time at the Allianz Arena.

At the end of several chances, the away team took an unexpected lead. Matthia Palin was forced to make a brilliant save in the 20th minute, with Domenico Beladi firing a low-curved shot near the goalpost. Paulo Dybala did juve's best efforts to lock in a loose ball and shoot a shot at the outside of the goalpost with real force. The Bianconeri were frozen a minute before halftime and David Flatsy ran towards Gregory DeFreir's beautiful pass, broke into the corner and completed a nice move.

Substitute Juan Cadrado found his shot blocked off the line a minute after the young Italy international's shot was deflected off the line, and shortly after Dybala's shot was saved and Federico Chiesa headed the rebound out.

The hosts didn't look equalising and 15 minutes later, Dybala scored a perfect curling free-kick that Weston McKenny rose to the top spot with a header.

While Juve were looking for a winner, Sassuolo shocked the Allianz Arena with one of his goals in the fifth minute of injury time. Nerovidi broke, Bellardi's sweeping cross was picked up by Maxim Lopez and calmly completed, and Sassuolo won 2-1 against Juventus. As a result, the old woman was seventh in Serie A, while Sassuolo rose to ninth.
