Yangtze River Daily, August 4, Wuhan 9 park squares suspended the supply of large bowls of tea to reduce the gathering of people and reduce the risk of epidemic transmission.

On the morning of the 4th, Shahu Park posted a notice in the entrance hall of Area A (Linqinyuan East Road) to suspend the supply of large bowls of tea in Qinyuan and move the large tea barrels placed in the entrance hall. The relevant staff of the park said that this can avoid the gathering of people and the removal of masks when tourists drink tea.

Since 2013, Shahu Park has been supplying large bowls of tea to the public free of charge, and has developed a special tea recipe that can be adjusted according to seasonal changes. The large bowl of tea in summer is made of flower black tea as the main ingredient, and is brewed with chrysanthemum, licorice and rock sugar in proportion, which not only quenches thirst, but also tastes good, and is well received by the public. During the epidemic last year, the park also suspended the supply of large bowls of tea.

On the afternoon of the 4th, Jiefang Park temporarily closed the visitor service center located at Gate 2 of the park, and the large bowl of tea located in the center was also suspended at the same time.

Hongshan Square not only suspended the supply of large bowls of tea, but also suspended the supply of water at the 12 direct drinking water drinking points in the square. The staff of the square said that during the extraordinary period, tourists should wear masks throughout the tour. This is done to better protect the safety of tourists.

Parks such as Yuehu Scenic Area, Peace Park, Qintai Green Square, Shouyi Square, Chuwangtai Ruins Park, and Wuchang Park have also suspended the supply of large bowls of tea.

After the suspension of the supply of large bowls of tea, what should the public do if they are thirsty and want to drink water when they visit the garden? Some parks have introduced alternative solutions. Since the 4th, Qintai Green Square has prepared 100 small bottles of mineral water every day, which are provided free of charge to the public in need.

At 11:00 a.m., when the sun was shining, Mr. Liu, a citizen over the age of flower armor, was thirsty when he passed through the square. Seeing that there was mineral water available for free, I went forward and received a bottle. He was touched and said, "Thank you! Your service is so attentive! ”

Qin Feng, head of the Qintai Green Plaza, told the Yangtze River Daily reporter that the square is connected with the Yuehu Lake Greenway, and many citizens walk and cycle through every day. Five years ago, they began to provide free flower tea and boiled water to the public. "Now because of the needs of epidemic prevention and control, the supply of large bowls of tea and boiling water has been suspended, but the service to the public cannot be stopped."

Shahu Park staff said that after the suspension of the supply of large bowls of tea, if tourists really need it, the park will provide boiled water, and remind them to take an open place to drink alone to avoid gathering people.
