I read the novel "Eclipse" by American writer Stephen King, because of the recommendation of a fiction author at the Fifth Oil Production Plant. Searching online, I learned that Stephen King was the original writer of "The Shawshank Redemption". The film adaptation of his novel of the same name was so impressive that I went online to find out about Eclipse.

Stephen King has been hailed as "the undisputed master of thriller fiction," but what I see is his difference.
The difference between "Eclipse" is far more meaningful than the so-called thriller.
The first is the difference in narrative techniques. The whole novel is told by the protagonist in one breath, and the head is fascinating, especially the plot of suspense superposition, which is very attractive.
The second is the difference in the language of fiction. In addition to speaking humorously and humorously, the language is accurate and innovative. For example, she wrote that her daughter, who was hurt by her biological father, had no eyes, "Looking into her eyes is like looking at the window of a house, and the owner of the house forgot to close the curtains when he left." "Empty eyes, so written out is not the same." The third is the difference in suspense setting. As the "undisputed master of thriller novels", Stephen King uses the protagonist's feelings, especially psychological changes, to set the suspense of the story, and the interlocking dangers are reborn. The reader can only look down in one breath, which is interesting.
The fourth is the difference in shaping the characters. There are not many characters in Eclipse, but each has its own personality. For example, the character depiction of the scumbag husband is portrayed through the details of food, clothing, shelter, especially drinking. Another example is the character description of the female employer, including 6 clothes clips, the dismissal of the maid at every turn, and the hysterical inability to take care of each or even the long-winded and urine, etc., making this witch come alive. Of course, there is also the protagonist himself, the indomitable and tired resistance in the face of various tragic encounters, and the ability to keep a clear head in the face of sudden success, etc., which are worth learning.
The translator wrote in the afterword: "Stephen King" in "Eclipse" to express the helplessness of women in marriage, but also to write about their strength. Most importantly, he also lets the reader understand that the most terrifying thing in the world is not a dark hell, but a treacherous human heart.
Read Eclipse and read about the many gaps. For example, the characters we write are always inaccurate, including the suspense of the setting, so that people can see through it at a glance. In particular, the psychological depiction of repressed women is mostly scratching the itch of the boots.
Of course, in the section on the handling of the $30 million estate, the author somewhat exaggerated. A diligent and frugal woman in her sixties, the amount of money is too large to frighten people to death. In the end, even if it is donated anonymously, it cannot highlight the personality of the character. Setting up a million or two, also a millionaire, may be more helpful for the character image.
Reading Eclipse makes sense for working life, including writing.
When I checked the information, I found that the Japanese writer Keiichiro Hirano also had a "Eclipse"; it is said that the author won the 120th Wasagawa Prize for this work at the age of 23, and was known as the "reincarnation of Yukio Mishima".
