Just watching the trailer gives me goosebumps
The spin-off film "Buzz Lightyear", a spin-off of Pixar's classic animated series "Toy Story", released the first wave of promotional films today (27), is expected to be released in 2022, and the United States is scheduled to be released on June 17, 2022.
Buzz Lightyear is a character in 1995's Toy Story, whose mantra is "Fly into the universe, vast and vast".
The film focuses on Buzz Lightyear's adventures as a Space Mounted Policeman, which has nothing to do with becoming a toy. Creative director Pete Docter said that when designing "Toy Story" Buzz Lightyear, it was designed with "the protagonist of a classic movie blockbuster" as the foreword, and after more than 20 years, it was decided to make a personal film based on the original setting written by Buzz Lightyear.
Unlike the Toy Story version, the movie Buzz Lightyear featured Captain America Chris Evans as the lead voice. Directed for Angus MacLane of the TV special Toy Story: Horror Nights.
Incidentally, the soundtrack to the promo was legendary rocker David Bowie's "Starman" (released in 1972).
