The word Manchu-Mongolian marriage appears quite frequently in Qing palace dramas.
This is because in the early days, the marriage of Manchus and Mongols became a tradition of the Qing Dynasty.
From the time of Taizu Nurhaci to the end of the Qing Dynasty, this political marriage continued.

Even the Shunzhi Emperor deposed the Mongol empress on the front foot, but then had to marry back two more Mongolian concubines.

As a son of the imperial family, especially the emperor, you can't marry it if you don't marry.
Later, however, the position of the emperors became more and more stable.
However, this time it was necessary to mingle with the natives of Guannei again, so there was a "Manchu family relative" in the Kangxi Yongzheng period.
Especially Yongzheng boy, there were no Mongolian concubines in his harem.
But there should be no need to worry, because the Manchu-Mongolian marriage is not only applicable to the emperor.
At that time, all the male royal family members, such as the relatives of the Emperor ah ge wangye and the like, actually had to marry Mongolian nobles.
