On May 15, the 2021 CCF-Tencent Hornbill Fund officially released the filing guidelines. A total of 33 research propositions in 10 fields have been set up in the guidelines, and applications are open to young scholars around the world from now on, and the application deadline is 24:00 on June 15, 2021 (Beijing time).

CCF-Tencent Hornbill Fund (hereinafter referred to as "Hornbill Bird Fund") was jointly initiated by Tencent and the China Computer Society (CCF) in 2013, which is a platform for young scholars at home and abroad to build industry-university-research cooperation and academic exchanges. In the past 9 years, the Hornbill Bird Fund has provided the most innovative young scholars in the world with the opportunity to understand the real problems of the industry and contact the actual needs of the business, and through the industry-university scientific research cooperation between young scholars and the R&D team of the enterprise, it has promoted the improvement of the academic influence of both sides and the application of research results, and reserves energy for the exploration and innovation of independent research and development technologies.

The 2021 Rhinoceros Fund will focus on artificial intelligence, under the role of key trends in social development and the core needs of enterprise research and development, focus on supporting research in the fields of scientific and technological innovation and social sustainable development, set up research topics such as ecological environmental protection, agricultural development, medical health, material design, etc., promote the technological application and industrial integration of artificial intelligence technology in social and economic sustainable development, promote the research and development of basic and forward-looking scientific issues and key technologies by both partners, and make new contributions to social development.
